Zekvir Patch Notes - it is now doable the proper way. Zekvir’s Lair Zekvir’s damage and health has been reduced for both difficulties. Horrendous Roar is now a 2.5 second cast time for both difficulties (was 2.4 seconds and 2.25 seconds). Web Terror’s hatch time increased. Web Terror’s Web Blast cast time increased. Web Terrors now spawn randomly in the room rather than based off of Zek’vir’s current position. Spittle and Regenerating Carapace’s recast times now change while solo to better match each specialization’s interrupt cooldowns. Fixed an issue where Web Terrors would not despawn when the encounter ended. The damage of Angler's Web has been reduced. Claw Smash's visuals have been updated. Fixed an issue where Aspect of the Turtle did not work against Claw Smash. Fixed an issue where Claw Smash and Angler's Web visuals would not display during the precast.

I was able to complete this tonight as an MM hunter at ilvl 614, it is much harder than the video here because you cannot bug out the spiders, you must kill every sac or its GG. There are also some instances where Bran (alive) will just not heal you so you die, there are still instances where the boss will melee you for 4 mil and then immediately swing again. So just keep trying until all the stars align.

I've been trying this for over a week as MM hunter, and managed to get him to 30% on the one pull that I did the feign death technique flawlessly. I didn't use a trap to do this. Tried again and I seem to not be able to land the timing just right, only successful 1/20 attempts. If Brann is dumb and aggros the cocoon that's an instawipe it seems.

Killed Zekvir today for Paladin. I did not use the bug with the disappearance of the spider, spent 23 attempts. It is enough to learn ALL the spells of Zekvir, a little luck and you will succeed (Retri paladin 613 ilvl) Thanks to the author of the channel for the video, If I hadn't seen him, I wouldn't even have tried. good luck =)

Nicely played, on top of feign death/ play death, there is also shadowmeld as a back up do despawn the add. Ultimate class/race combo for this haha .

sometimes the boss despawns too when i and the pet feign - but sometimes it works - is this random or is there some kind of timing trick i dont know? do i have to instantly wake the pet up so the boss has a target?

How do you despawn the spider add? I'm trapping and using feign death but it's just aggroing after the trap is over. Also how come he never targets your pet? I turned growl off but he's still constantly 1 shotting my pet.

He used Play Dead which is the pet Feign Death.

@@semi6544 What I tried on the majority of my pulls is, Throw trap then when spider gets trapped feign death + play death. If I did get aggro of the spider or not , I realy don't know. But then the question is on the couple hours I tried I should atleast have it once trapped without aggro , right? There is a small problem that I noticed while doing it, if your traps ' green circle' hits the cocoon it's despawned/gone because it trigger of the cocoon. So the trap has to be in front of the cocoon and the spider always takes 1 mini step more or less to get in it.

Guess they nerfed it a bit this week. Add cocoon has now 7,5M hp and is killable in 20s. Did it with my ret pala 615 today.

Not possible as BM. Pet dies too quickly, and if you turn off growl you don't have enough ST damage to keep aggro off of even a healing Bran (who then dies). The FD exploit used in this video still works as BM, but it doesn't matter in the end. I'd imagine this is only possible as MM/Surv atm.

I need to understand why your adds are just despawning. You trap two and then they despawn, and one despawned without even being trapped. And one other one gets trapped but doesn't despawn until you Feign Death. What's happening here?

Ive seen war spell reflect the fears for like 30m dmg lol, but despawning the add or just killing it in time seems most important. That and a a way to dispel. Any slow remover does it.

This fight is so broken atm. I'm convinced it's designed to drain player's gold from repairs. But the uploader already got their reward so your goody good report won't bother them at all.
