One of the most interesting aspects of Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask is the mixture of cozy settings with occasional disturbing ones. For example, the contrast between the lovely village of Kakariko and the horrors lurking inside the village well is striking. I’ve noticed that many hacks dive straight into the disturbing aspects these games had, often neglecting the beauty of a cozy world that contrasts with them. The work being done here is astounding, and I hope the developers continue exploring the expressive possibilities of classic Zelda. Still, it would be nice to see some of the old "magic" of Zelda recaptured in a future hack.

The contrast between Hyrule Castle Town and how it looks when you enter the adult-Link timeline shocked me so much I couldn't play the game for a while, it was too much for my 9 year old brain.

The OOT soundfont turns the RE2 save room music into something way more sinister, maybe it's the gothic choir vox. A tasteful bgm choice for a medieval castle filled with skellies and weird abominations

0:01 that's pretty funny, playing OOT for the first time getting to this part kind of looked this badass as a kid. OOT was crazy when it first came out only playing NES games until that point. Stepping into the world of OOT for the first time was so cool it looked like real life. Same with GTA 3 I know everyone is use to how games look now so going back they look rough but when they came out there was nothing like it both so a head of their time. I wish gaming still had that feeling but sadly it left when ps3/360 did. Was happy to be apart of those days of gaming. NES, N64, PS2, PC back in the early days of steam, gamecube, xbox, and ps3/360 days. Now it's just pay $100 for 10% of the game then pay over $2k in dlc to get the rest.

You want historical accuracy in a fantasy game that's not even trying to be realistic. If you want to get technical, its been proven by HEMA instructors that you can draw an arming sword or a one handed sword from the back with no issues.
