Zelda BOTW Pro Speedrunner and Combat Expert React to New Viral Clips

We gathered Breath of the Wild pro speedrunner Limcube and combat expert RinHara5aki together to break down some speedruns, combat, glitches, and more.
Breath of the Wild is the game that keeps on giving, with people still finding new things four years later. Luca Jakobi, aka "Limcube," and Max Blumenthal, aka "RinHara5aki," specialize in two separate fields of Breath of the Wild and react to interesting new viral Breath of the Wild clips.
Limcube previously has done reacts videos and consistently speedruns Breath of the Wild to this day, even performing runs for Games Done Quick. He optimizes speedruns, as well, to make new routes. RinHara5aki is one of the first to delve into Breath of the Wild combat specifically, and with his videos amassing more than 13 million views, he continues to document and push the game's evolving combat system.
In the video above, the pair breaks down what's going on behind the scenes, how difficult the techniques are, and how they're performed. Complex glitches such as Extended Shield clips, Horse Slides, Spaceships, Shield Block Resets, and others are examined.

7:58 Actually that tilt comes from the wall's collision; when alfort did the instant shield clip, he got lucky and clipped through both layers of collision. When he hit that corner of the wall, he used the skew simultaneously, giving him a boost through the other part of the wall. It wasn't an ESC at all.

I would agree, but you can't go into bullet time if your bow is already about to fire. You have to put the bow away first, then jump, and the boko had his bow out already. I'm just stating facts, don't r/whoooosh me I do think this is funny.

Damn the lightning guy fighting the lynel was literally like Thor, the clips that these people can produce, it literally looks cinematic, it’s crazy to think that these aren’t manoeuvres that the devs had ever intentionally created, that they were just discovered and created by the community. This is what complete, stable physics mechanics can do in a game. No artificial restrictions, just a set of laws of physics that are totally consistent. Such a phenomenal game, it will never stop taking my breath away!

This was great. I’m sure they exist but I’ve never seen such a deep and clear explanation of glitches and the like being used expertly like this. I have played many video games for many years and understand them at a pretty high intermediate level and have never play any Zelda game but I understood this perfectly and they were really awesome clips that I’m glad I could watch and even more appreciative that I can understand them.

The second clip is a trick shot from the bokoblin not the player. The bokoblin had everything set up perfectly. The bokoblin is the main character.

6:20 If I recall correctly, what's happening is that the Guardian is constantly trying to lift itself off the ground (even when it's lost all its legs). At the same time, the boat is trying to push up to meet whatever is on it. So when you combine the two effects, you get a Guardian and a boat that are constantly increasing their elevation.

A trick to set up the flying guardian boat trick is that, if you Urbosa's Fury it, then quickly Stasis it, it'll stun lock into a friendly state permanently.

Try completing the Ze Kasho shrine on CEMU without motion controls...I found out I can make the platforms move by using my mouse and right clicking to cause random jumpy movements of the platform. After a long, long time and much frustration, I finally completed the shrine yesterday!

For the thunder thing with the Lynel you hold a metal weapon and when your about to get struck you shoot a shock arrow and unequip the metal weapon and thunder will hit whatever you shot the shock arrow at

Shock arrows can redirect the lightning to where you shoot thats how and why the lynel got struck by lightning

Where the guy hit the libel with lightning he did that like this, when he was about to get struck by lightning he shot a shock arrow at the lynel and that made the lightning target the lynel not that you have to have a wooden sword and shield but a metal bow I believe

Hi, gamespot. I love your vides of the things you still don't know about breath of the wild, and I have one for you. This tip is really unique that you have to be in the right circumstance for you to experience it. I learned this tidbit from CJYA's video on beating breath of the wild while the world is on fire. Devine beast Vah Medoh cannons can be beaten without using bomb arrows. If you use a strong melee weapon and hit the cannons with a dive attack, it will do damage to the cannon. In case your wondering it does not work for va Naboris not sure about ruta.
