i love Zelda's voice acting, but i wish Link had been given a couple of lines for her to play off of. so many cutscenes are just of her talking to Link, and it gives off an impression that she's really chatty and overly angsty. i think being able to converse WITH Link in cutscenes instead of TO Link would have remedied that.

Because the master sword chose Link quickly, allowing him to fulfill his role. The fact that he was able to take on this power so easily and fast reminded her constantly of the fact that she wasn't able to get her power, even after trying so hard. At least that's what I felt was going on.
