This is what I imagine this song going to: Link finds an ancient abandoned temple, along the walls are carvings, showing all the past reincarnations of the hero. As you walk down the wall, you eventually come to the end. At the end is a carving of you. It shows you dying, and being put in the shrine of resurrection.

that would be an awesome way of telling backstory. especially those previous reincarnations. but if Nintendo does that they should leave something to theories about. like some weird gabs or way more links than we know of

Derk Schelvis I really hope Nintendo has some good writers on their team. I want to see some amazing characters in this game. I also want to see Link develop as a character. I think this could create a stronger player character connection than ever before in the Zelda franchise.

At the beginning of one of the trailers, Link is shown being awaken from a tomb-like "bed". It's the scene with all that blue shining light around Link (you probably know what I'm talking about). I think that the scene you're describing would fit right into the setting!

To be 100% honest, your music, this track especially, inspired me to write a BotW fic far before the game came out, and the story it inspired me to write was actually so much more heartfelt than what we ended up getting. BotW was an amazing game, if a bit on the simple side as far as story was concerned. Your music deserves to be in a more narratively developed sequel, truly.

Wow. Stunning. Beautiful. Peaceful. Somber. It gets really quiet at points - not sure whether that's to its benefit or not. It probably is. They can last a while before the main theme re-kicks in. You certainly pulled off silences better than New Leaf did. The rainy day songs can sound so empty. Good job!

I think the idea was for it to be similar to the Temple of Time's music in-game. It's very slow and ambient, you almost don't even realise it is the OoT theme playing.
