I know it's been a couple of years, but I just wanted to thank you for this play-through. I grew up watching my older brother play various Zelda games (total Younger Sibling Culture of being totally content never playing, just watching), and the lore holds such a special place in my heart. Breath of the Wild was the first LOZ game to come out after we all moved out, so I never got to experience it. There just isn't time to dedicate to sitting around and watching him beat a game during the few times we all get together. A recent Zelda nostalgia wave had me decide to look up a Breath of the Wild play-through so I could at least see the main storyline. Yours was they only one I could find that did the main quest, showed all the gameplay AND cutscenes, without commentary and without taking ages (some playlists had over 100 videos! I just don't have that kind of time!). I'd heard such wonderful things about this game and to finally see it live up to my expectations was wonderful. So, thank you for your skilled gameplay and for putting this up for others to experience. I've asked for a Switch for Christmas, and if I get it, I'll get BOTW and do my best to beat it (no promises - didn't get much practice growing up!).

The story to this game breaks my heart. Zelda couldn't awaken her power and her father was angry about it. All the people's work was almost for naught. The machines that were supposed to help got turned against Hyrule. All the champions DIED and Link nearly shared their fates. However, he wakes up 100 years later, confused and alone, with no memory of what happened. When he does remember, everything's different and he can't go back to try and fix things or save his friends who've died in Gannon's attack. Link is alone in this game and there's no one who can understand him. Yes, Zelda is guiding him but she still can't understand waking up with no memory, no idea what's going on, and being told that you're the only person who can save the land. All of Link's stories are tragic but my heart really goes out to him in this game.

As for how she did not age my theory is that she used her own body as the seal and so for as long as the seal remained solid she did not age. All in all she was in some form of stasis until she was not.

you can just load back to your last save which will probably be right at the door before you fight ganon so you dont keep the bow but there is going to be an expansion for this game which makes me think there is going to be a new area to explore with new dungeons because it says its a story related thing and since the story of hyrule is done

Honestly felt like none of them got enough screen time, i mean compare them to the sages in Ocarina, just feels a bit off. But yeah Mipha is best fish waifu. Also gotta love that Falco! . . . and by that i mean love to punch him in his beak! Head-cannon says Urbosa is Zeldas mum. And Durina/Durika was a nice big lovable lug, can't go wrong with that.

Haven't watched it yet due to not wanting to progress, but is it possible to beat gannon without getting Master sword or Divined beast? just for jokes, i saved before I got close o the castle and climbed in avoiding everything and basically wrecked a lot of gannons forms with ancient arrows and a bow that shoots 5 arrows. I just stopped and loaded my last save cause I ran out of arrows and he had a shield lol. but would of it been possible to beat the game that way?

A while ago, I got into an argument with another guy about this fight. The reason: I said that this wasn't really Ganon. Oh, we argued for ages, and the argument got really heated, but I stood my ground on my argument. Thing is... _Something felt... Off._ I couldn't put my finger on it, but the thing didn't feel like Ganon. It was more like a Phantom Ganon powered by even darker magic. *_Well, guess what? Hi I was wondering if anyone can help me out today I defeated ganon and I did all of the 15 main quests and I have the star in my safe file but in the adventure log it appears like if I never defeated ganon in the first place, I have all memories including the secret one and the secret ending so I really don't know usually when you complete a main quest it appears the hylia symbol and completed but in mine nor in this game play it appeared

That is because in all past Zelda game's and apparently this one too, when you beat the final boss it sets you back to the last save you had before you beat Ganondorf. I know it sucks but hopefully there will be further game play after the boss in the DLC.

That was an EPIC boss fight against Ganon! This incarnation of him was obviously where he was at his strongest. Furthermore, I'll be most anxious in awaiting the eventual release of the DLC Aonuma has planned to finally finish the game.

Nah son, play Ocarina of Time. He actually RULED (not just managed to kill some folks) Hyrule for seven years, was also much harder to kill. This guy just turned into a boar and stood there. Was fun but I expected the final fight to involve the epic combat system that they had built.
