I can say laying 3-4 octorocks in strategic positions on hero mode works even at the last stage of the fight. I was out of energy and used that to kill him for the last blow. They hit at range and act as shields for you.

I also like using caromadillos, that room is a good space for them. I don't know if they're better than octoroks, but one advantage they have is you don't have to position them, just release a new one when you have triangles to spend.

Anyone know can you transport back from boss fights to make smoothies?

Yeah you can teleport out. That is why there are teleport locations before each boss fight.

I can't defeat him in phase 4 he keeps hitting me with fireballs they go too fast for me to hit them. Can you attack him instead of hitting them is there an easier way? What smoothies did you bring?

You can ignore the fireballs in phase 4 and hit him directly or send an echo to hit him, though he will just teleport away after one hit. If you have any rock salt, the Salted Milky Smoothie (Rock salt + Fresh Milk) is by far the best in the game, especially for boss fights. It restores 10 hearts and a full energy bar.
