Zelda - Link's Awakening: Tal Tal Heights (Vector U Remix)

This is one of my first times collaborating with others to make an album, and it was with none other than Qumu and Noteblock! Make sure to check out their channels for their amazing Link's Reawakening pieces:

"Tal Tal Heights" is my addition to the album, and it was just so much fun to remix. I remember going to the mountain range as a kid just to hear this melody! I thought it would be nice to speed things up a bit with a DnB/Ska type groove. I also managed to accidentally drop the bass pretty hard in the middle lol. This is also my first loopable piece, make sure to put this one on repeat to try it out ;D

Man, I never know if a remix of a video game song is a hit or a miss. With your remixes, I'm always sure it's a hit. You're able to remix it so well, and yet keep the same song intact. It churns out a nostalgia factor, and the added voice clips and sound effects with your remixes just increases that factor. It's amazing what you've done and it's a mystery as to why you don't have more than 100K subs. Fantastic work my friend, keep it up!

I love this remix, even with the completion chime drop 2/3rds of the way through. The clicking is a little bit annoying but on the whole, I actually love this track. What makes it for me is how the original game music was kept in before the build up.
