Zelda Skyward Sword - Swordless Link Glitch

Hello everyone. In this video I show you how to lose your sword in Skyward Sword. BE SURE TO BACK UP YOUR SAVE FILE IN CASE OF A MESS UP! Read below for instructions.
(1) In order to do this you have to lose your items and most importantly your sword during the eruption at Eldin Volcano. If you want to you can get your items back by going through the event but it isn't required.
(2) You must kill yourself in any way and preform Back in Time glitch.
(3) Once you do that you have to Save the game then start your save file (this will reset your position to that statue in Skyloft).
(4) Then when you appear in Skyloft you should leave and then you have successfully preformed the Sword less Link glitch.
You can always return to get your items back but you will have to climb the volcano again. I don't know if anyone has discovered this glitch (in this game specifically) but if you have then please tell me. If you have any questions feel free to ask them.

Too all: The glitch is that he can go to other areas without a sword. The glitch isnt really Losing the sword.

Pretty cool. I like it. This uses the Back in Time glitch to return Link to Skyloft. It's interesting but kills the game because returning to Eldin Volcano triggers the stolen items sequence again. You lose all the items you collected again and you no longer have the Mogma Mitts. You cannot retrigger the cutscene where the mogma gives back the Mitts so you are trapped forever. I copied my unglitched game save and experimented with the copy. I couldn't get this swordless glitch to work until the same point you show at the start of your video. I tried at all the save points prior, but I could not get the BIT glitch to work. Did you notice when you reset back at Skyloft with no sword, there are no people walking around outside and Beedle's sky shop is gone and there is no music. If you fly or go inside a building, then return outside, the people are back. Also, if you go to the bazaar talk to the check girl, your pouch is locked full and can't be changed. You can't buy a new item from Rupin either. For a laugh, go to Bamboo Island and try the Clean Cut Challenge - with no sword!!!

dude i mean when u leave the master sword there do the early goddens sword but dont get the practice sword just play the game normal until you get locked up with no shiled or sword then do the giltch to get to skyloft then get the sword

Not really a swordess link glitch it's all very simple you go to a part of the game where you lose all your items then you die and manipulate the games memory by continuing and resetting on the wii which does both actions allowing you to move on the title screen then find a statue save and start your file at the same time which is a manipulation of back in time or bit magic and performing it like this saves onto the file you are playing manipulating the game to send you to any save statue without affecting anything on your save except your location allowing you to go anywhere with your sword but this begs the question if you lose your sword and you perform this would it mean you could use previously activated owl statues to skip around because is a cutscene only once going in because the second time around the game would expect you to have finished the area this is something i must experiment with

It isn't permanent, all you have to do is go back through the volcano like you would normally do and the sword will still be there.

Basically, you can't leave the area until you get your sword back, meaning you can't ascend into the sky, go to Faron, anything. This glitch allowed the player to leave the area and run around without the sword or half of his items.
