What is your biggest Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Theory? | The New Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Trailer Enhanced with Ai and a Graphic Comparison.
@TheCoordinate2 жыл бұрын
My theory going off of the figure that most are assuming to be Hylia. If it IS her, maybe its her hand thats holding/ sealing Ganondorf. I wonder if thats what the king unknowingly meant by “the power to oppose it lies dormant beneath the ground.” He may have been referring to the guardians and divine beasts as that’s what they ended up finding, but as Fi says in SS something along the lines of “over time information gets lost/ altered” be it purposely or accidental. That’s all i’ve got 😅
@fabiantalton68882 жыл бұрын
Which means Ganondorf not really the bad guy just possessed. Never was. Was Hylia herself controlling time and keeping them in a cycle? Zelda knew this whole time? That’s sad it’s if it’s true..

My theory is thus: Ganondorf returned from the dead, threatening to take over hyrule 20,000 years ago. The zonai, bullied and victimised by the hyrulean Royal family and eager to find revenge, were easily swayed by the king of evil, who himself grew up in a land of abject poverty. But then, he betrayed them. Using 7 zonai souls as sacrifices, ganondorf restored his full power and was poised to destroy hyrule. Only the combined might of the hero of hyrule, princess zelda, and the mysterious leader of the zonai could stop him, and the zonai leader sacrificed herself to seal ganondorf away, becoming an immortal spirit. After this, the shiekah tribe genocided the zonai for their treachery, and wrote them into thd history books as barbarians, a narrative that would be lost to time along with the rest of those people, who have faded into legend. The shiekah knew ganon would return again, so using the remnants of zonai technology and improvisation as a starting point, they created their own army. An army that could single handedly repel the calamity. 100 years passed and my brother and I-

Would be cool if the first hero was a zonai, that would give us more lore and information on the zonai
@Kawasabi2 жыл бұрын
My theory is that the logo and wall has similarities to the twili I don't think they will make a return but we could see another tribe or something (zonai) also these tears might strengthen the arm or master sword to be able to beat Ganon If you pause at 4:30 and go to this location it doesn't look the same in botw its a bunch of roots but here in totk it seems like its a cave Yeah that's my 2 cents

Rumor is they are implementing FSR upscaling in TOtK, so expect a solid frame rate. They already use it in Switch Sports .

If you look closely at the final shot of Link, on the surface of Hyrule there is something that looks suspiciously like a stable next to one of the green carvings. The strange thing is that there is no stable there in the original game. Why would they move the stables? Just a small thing I noticed.

my theory is that the mysterious figure is a zonai sage. seven tears can be found around it and the reason why i think it is a new sage is because of the gerudo statues. seven can be found together with the gerudo text translating to "seven sages" and one can be found alone, away from the others. we all know the trailer has a lot of zonai connections, so i think its a zonai sage. i could be very wrong tho lol
@hyruleher0ine9592 жыл бұрын
What if the Sheikah came from the zonai originally? Like, maybe in the ancient days, it was just the zonai, but some were recruited to serve Hylia. Those zonai adapted to modernization and breed with Hylians (diluting some of their magic) while other zonai stayed the same. The sheikah still had mad respect for the zonai since they were “sister tribes,” but that could explain why a lot of sheikah imagery has similarity with the zonai (sheikah eye, swirls) Before they were banished, the zonai were the first to create tech based on their magic powers. The zonai pillars were the first iterations of sheikah towers, and they had some shrines of their own. But, when the king banished them to the twilight realm bc he thought they were betraying him, the king was left with no tech to protect him. So, the sheikah took it upon themselves to create newer tech, inspired by the zonai, with the towers and shrines, divine beasts, and guardians. Then, when the king orders the sheikah to abandon their tech (even though it saved him), it could be that he was afraid that the sheikah would use the tech to betray him (like he thought the zonai would). I LOVE what you did with the 4k graphics!! The trailer is even more beautiful :))

As long as it is a stable full 720p30fps on handheld I'm good. Splatoon 3 looks great handheld with FSR there's no way it will run anywhere 1080p unless they remade the engine from the ground up and the upscaler they use actually does a good job.
@GameOverJesse2 жыл бұрын
It would actually be easy to run this at 1080. BotW wasn't even optimized for switch when it releasesd

A few things that I haven't seen people talk about: 1. At the end of the trailer when you can see who Zelda holds hands with, you can see two "tears" hanging above them in a circle. I was wondering, why there's only two. It looks like the tears are being put together and it looks like a heart! This makes me think that the mystery woman and Zelda must have a special bond and since hearts equal life in Zelda games, they both together bring things to life ig. Whatever that means lmao 2. The green glowy figures you can see near the end of the trailer when Link jumps onto the bird glider thingy: They are not the same!! At least I couldn't make them match no matter which way I turned my screen 😂 Maybe the distant one near the castle is distorted but I feel like one remarkable thing about the clearly visible one at the end is the hand and I can't find that hand pose on the other one. I feel like the one near the castle looks like an Orni?? But maybe I'm tripping. Anyway, just for fun I looked up the depicturing of the fight with Calamity Ganon from BotW where the 4 champions are visible, standing on top of the titans, and I noticed that the champions depicted look nothing like the actual champions. It's very abstract. Which is weird to me. Basically, what I'm trying to say is that I secretly wish for the champions to play a role in TotK as well because they deserve more. So I'm hoping that the glowy things on the ground have to do with them. The clearly visible character doesn't look like Zelda but als not (exactly) like the mystery woman, so maybe it's another important woman in the game (Urbosa???). The positions of the glowy green thingies are not close to the towns where the champions are from tho, so that's just a random, probably false thought of mine. 3. I feel like the green glowing stuff like in the vessels on Links belt or in his arm also has to do with electricity. The way Links arm filled up with the green stuff reminded me of the shrines where you had to make the electric power "connect" to open doors and stuff. It's not 100% the same green colour but it's very similar. 4. Since the 7 "tears" in the stone carving are upside down, I tried watching the trailer upside down just for fun and it was kind of enlightening in a way 😂 It feels like I learned sth. When you watch the trailer upside down, it actually looks like Zelda is falling down instead of being levitated. And instead of being rescued and levitated away from the malice it looks like the malice is following her down. Also I noticed, especially near the end where you can see that big floating island in the background, that the floating islands are very sharply growing downwards, making it look like the top of buildings when watched upside down. So the big island in the background looks like a town when you look at it upside down. I also feel like the downside part of the castle looks like a "negative" castle upside down. Maybe we get to defy gravity and walk on the islands upside down? I feel like I've played a game where you would do that and two players would switch around from playing on the upside and the downside but I can't remember which game it was lmao. Since the downside part probably comes from the underground (because it looks like the floating islands emerged from the ground of Hyrule) maybe we get to defy gravity and play in the downside underground by jumping into the holes (like that big hole we can see at the end). Maybe there's a whole upside down underworld lying under Hyrules ground?? 5. What is that glowing spot on Ganondorfs forehead and why does Zelda also have this circle on her forehead in the stone carvings?? Yeah, that's all I have to say for now lol. To everyone who read this far: Thank you and you are awesome ⭐️

When the overworld comes into view briefly during Link's big dive, I believe that he's facing south and Martha's Landing is right behind him...would that make The sky Islands with the big temple the ones engulfed in stormclouds? I paused at 3:05 to see the geography...

@TheDisturbedOne242 жыл бұрын
We once again see Link in 2 different distinct styles. Climbing the vine on one of the sky islands wearing the green clothes and with longer hair, it looks like he has a stone axe of some sort and no shield. It kind of gives off a more primitive vibe. I'm think there is more time traveling than just the ability to reverse time on objects. You do see him in the more known blue tunic jumping off the islands. So if there are time mechanics in that way it would seem that there will be a past AND present version of a MASSIVE Hyrule with sky islands?!?!?

Well I guess many of you should throw away all your anime blurays because all anime TV shows (including the beautiful Demon Slayer) are mastered at sub 1080p and upscaled on Blu Ray. Even many UHD 4K blu Rays (Like Mad Max Fury Road) are 1080p upscaled sources on 4K discs. Throw them all out if you are so obsessed with resolution. 🤣As for the trailer, notice how some of the floating islands are way out at sea? I think this hints that the overall map has expanded beyond Hyrule.

Yeah it's a shame. They really are the ones who create and then the rest of the industry follows. I think their main focus is to make stuff affordable for families and stuff. Parents who aren't concerned with technology will just see that the Switch is more affordable, and can shut their little ones up during car trips too
