Credit to ZeldaMaster for correctly predicting the main premise of BOTW's sequel in his prior videos, even before the release of Nintendo's gameplay video which focused on the player's creative imaginative freedom. Great job! My one tiny prediction: Link’s new gauntlet is the Sheikah Slate fused to Link’s hand reshaped in the twisted warped form of a gauntlet. Hence the emphasis on the gauntlet on the new Link amiibo and it's absence in recent trailers.

I liked BotW's OST, but I'll admit, BotW's story was presented terribly, because unless you do character deep dives, reflection, visiting every corner of hyrule just to get dialogue out of an NPC, and digging through other BotW related media like Creating a Champion, you only get the bare minimum.

@@coryfreake9070 i agree… BotW’s music isn’t bad in any standards… it nailed the atmosphere aspect and it’s music that feels like it would be i. that particular area. i just felt like the music didn’t have that punch that most zelda games have… like ambushing gannondorf in OoT and the music right before you go into the moon in MM, and like the great sea theme. if that makes sense

You can see the ceiling restrictions in the patent. It has to be level and in a central part of the ceiling. It must have been insane for debuggers to make sure that rule would work anywhere. Great video!

I wish Nintendo put a little more creativity into this game than I'm seeing. The Overworld still looks exactly the same. The graphics look completely the same. Even most of the gameplay elements are fairly similar. The only thing they've added is sky islands and 2 to 3 new abilities (at least that we've seen so far). At least when Majora's Mask reused elements from Ocarina of Time, they changed the overworld, they introduced masks and transformation masks, they created a different atmosphere to the game. This just looks like Breath of the Wild with a little makeup added.

@@GameTimeNLL All I'm saying is I look at this footage and I don't really believe I'm seeing a new Zelda game. I'm seeing perhaps a glorified version of BotW DLC. And I don't go for new Zelda games to see what new abilities I get. I get them to explore a new version of Hyrule and get immersed in it and its story and lore. This is just the Hyrule from BotW with sky islands added in. I'm going based on what they showed me with less than two months before the game's release. Do I hope I'm wrong? Absolutely. But I am prepared to be a little disappointed.

Freaking thank you. Be careful who you ask this question to though, you’ll immediately be labeled an outcast. At best they added a few mechanics just to check mark they added something new. Then on top of that, it’s not even anything yiu haven’t seen in other games. Crafting is basically super gluing weapons together, the vehicle building isn’t even banjo kazoo our nuts and bolts standard which is a very low bar, apparently link sky dives now and you can pop out of a wall like your Casper. Game of the year?!?!?!?! My extra $10 is going to extremely minor quality of life improvements? Where is all the hype from this game coming from?
