When I entered snow peak for the first time that melody gave me chills. It is a pretty common one used through the game but the slower, more eerie tone to it really does give off that cold emptiness. I always found it interesting how the area looks so vast and wide but there's nothing really there. Over all another great list!!! Looking forward to the next video!!!

The best thing about winter themes? With multiplayer games, they sound like you're having fun in snow with friends, and with games you play alone they sound mostly like you're alone in the cold, near hypothermia, and no one is here to help you besides your company, but they're usually not humans

I was seriously hoping Snowpeak would be #1 and I got what I wanted! First time I got to Snowpeak I felt so dang cold hearing that music and taking in the atmosphere. I’ve associated that song with being cold so much that, during that winter (because I got TP for Christmas), when I would take my dog outside, that I’d play the Snowpeak music on my phone. Excellent choice. 👌🏻

Snowpeak theme reminds me to Snowman, from Mother, but the remix in Super Smash Bros Brawl, both are beautiful and rather creepy : ) Snowpeak theme is my favorite, but I like Snowhead and Frozen Hyrule too : )

Yeah, I expected pretty much every entry on your list. There aren't too many themes to choose from. Some icy areas like Death Mountain in A Link Between Worlds and the Woods of Winter/Goron Mountain from Oracle of Seasons lack that "wintery" feel. Death Mountain gives more of an epic ordeal kind of feel while the whole overworld in both Oracle Games has the exact same theme which is more adventure themed and general rather than area specific. Still, I would remove Breath of the Wild from the list and put in Anouki village from Spirit Tracks. While it isn't exactly a large part of the overworld, it's still a part of it, so I count it. The Snow Realm/Troubled Realm theme also lacks that "wintery" feel. Too bad Ice dungeon themes aren't allowed (at least I think they aren't) because Temple of Droplets would be my number 1. It's good to see another video from you guys. Merry late Christmas and a Happy New Year. I can't wait to see what 2019 has in store for all of us. :) (Hopefully I finally get a new job)

Honestly for me I've never been a huge fan of icy areas in Zelda. I associate Winter with Happiness and Playfulness (most likely thanks to my roots of celebrating Christmas despite being Atheist/Agnostic) and in Zelda, they always feel so creepy and alone. I understand how one can like that, but I just don't. While in general I prefer Zelda to Skyrim (though I still do love Skyrim, being in my top 5 non-zelda games) I vastly prefer its wintery areas, as the absence of music makes it less creepy, though they still do give off the same creepy and alone air; despite that, I do like exploring the snowy Highlands of Skyrim Province
