That theme was actually originally from LttP's Kakariko Village! And the rest of the song is based on LttP's Dark World overworld theme (albeit way way more chilled out).

When it is mentioned it's usually from people complaining that CoD is mentioned so much on these videos. Rarely ever do people discuss CoD on Zelda videos. When it does get mentioned, it is then you see people talk about CoD with the hundreds of comments saying "don't mention CoD" or "why are people discussing CoD on these videos".

I have to agree with XShiftryX here. Call of duty was the first to implement them in a fps, unqiue regenerating health (not the first to introduce the concept tho) and the perks are confirmed to be true. Killstreaks too. But yes I agree this conversation shouldn't have been brought up.

Do you know that fps back in the day had no iron sight feature? The guns had them but you couldn't use them. Counter strike is one popular example. I said the first to bring the concept into the fps, and yes adventuring games had regenerating health first . CoD did not invent, but implement them.

@dandanwii Dragon Roost Island was based on Native Inca/qeuchua music from Peru/Bolivia. Those people don't play much much video games down there so I don't know if they would be flattered or offended of the Japanese stealing their culture for their games

Twilight does have a Sumo Wrestling minigame so that one Asian culture in there and I thought since South America is still mostly developing countries newer videogames like this would be rare and they are still like in the 16 bit age down there as I imagine that is only the technology they can afford until their economies improve.

@somerandomgirl8D They were, design is nice in Dark Dawn though and it carries through the story, even though it wasn't necessary. It's fun but not challenging like the other two. The first two weren't that hard but they just required more thinking so to speak.

CoD: Mindlessly killing other players with a broken sense of realism. "Hooray, I can successfully quick scope people and I have an awesome k/d!" Yeah, who the hell cares but yourself. Mosly played by kids/trolls today. Zelda: Takes you on adventurous missions with hours of unforgettable game play. Everything about it is fun. There is no score, no k/d, and everyone interprets it in their own way. I do enjoy violent games, but the Zelda series makes games enjoyable without being overly violent.

Deserving of existing? It all comes down to a matter of opinion. Some people will find Zelda boring and others COD Some might call it the best some might call it gay. OoT was quite innovative and so was a few COD titles pushing developers make games in modern times. It's the same the shit every year but don't forget it's old games before it went mainstream. tldr there is no "worthy of existing" cod fans will want cod, zelda fans will want zelda. the games both brought new shit to the table
