And the Demon King does bring up a good point in this game, given that he wants to bring back Hyrule, since some people may wanna be done with the past, but the past is not done with them, because it wants its day and please those who it back since it was happy times for them.

I love the theory that Calamity Ganon within BOTW was only just a version of Puppet Ganon now that we know Ganondorf still exists. But it makes total sense. The very first version we see of him is a snake that flies around Hyrule Castle. Then when we fight in the castle he takes the form of a spider. And lastly when he transforms one last time, he takes the form of a boar. The Ganon we fought was never the true Ganon, just a puppet but one that could have the power to destroy almost the entirety of Hyrule.

I had a dream about this boss fight maybe once in my entire life. It takes place on a stage, and puppet ganon is wearing a little German alpine hat and lederhosen like a little Bavarian boy, and surrounded by all these cardboard cutout set dressings like mountains and houses and clouds and link fights him on the stage. As the fight progresses ganon ascends up into the rafters of the stage with the lights and the rigs and pulleys and link follows him up there and defeats him. The strangest part about it all is whenever I watch or play through this fight I always expect it to play out like my dream version. I always forget the dialogue and Zelda sleeping in the bed. It’s like my subconscious has completely replaced the dream boss fight with the real boss fight, and the one seems more real and familiar to me than the other. It’s very strange.

I have always wondered why we got Puppet Ganon instead of Ganon himself, I have searched everywhere byt can not find an answer. Most of all I'm simply as ro what he would actually look like in his true form.

If you think about it from a storytelling perspective, it makes a lot of sense. This Ganondorf is much more restrained and sympathetic than previous versions of himself. He is no longer mad with power and now merely seeks what was probably his original goal in OoT before he went mad with a lust for power: the betterment of the living conditions of his people. This time, he goes about his plan in a much more calm and restrained manner, only seeking to do what is necessary to further his ends. By not having Ganondorf transform into Ganon, they are representing his humanity and distance from his primal lusts through gameplay. Puppet Ganon can also be seen as a metaphor for how Ganondorf is essentially strung along by fate; he is first cursed to lead a futile struggle against Hyrule and his inner lust for power, then is thwarted by the Goddesses when he acquires the Triforce prior to Wind Waker, and lastly, even when he reconnects to his original, more noble ambitions, as well as dedicating himself to the prosperity of Hyrule and all its people (evidenced by his condemnation of the Gods for flooding Hyrule and his unwillingness to kill either Link or Zelda), he is still thwarted by the Goddesses. I hope I've explained it well enough. I could write an entire essay analyzing Ganondorf's character.
