The only feasible reason Glitch could give to stop a proper season 2 is budget. Because the potential and writing is there, N alone can carry a whole season on just his traumas, and the Solver is too smart to let Cyn be it's full source therefore killing or patching her would kill the Solver, it's too smart for that. So I believe that after ep 8, the show will enter a hiatus for a while, then come back with S2E1 for us.

I really don't see how you can say that until we've seen S1E8. Unless the show runners have explicitly stated elsewhere (AFAIK they haven't, correct me if I'm wrong), that episode *may or may not* conclude every important thread in the series. I get the desire for the things you like to continue indefinitely, but sometimes stories end because the creator wanted to end it where it did. We'll see whether that happens or not with this show.

@@zackakai5173 The thing is, there's just too many loose ends to tie in just one episode, even if you leave some for theories. I don't want MD to stretch thin, but I think it has enough potential for a season 2 just to wrap everything without rushing. The reason most talk about the possibility for a season 2 before episode 8 is because if we have episode 8 it's easy to know if it had a proper ending to the show or if it's a setup for more.

Also another thing, if Glitch wants to be a place for indie animations and stuff, they do need a repertoire. As much as TADC is soaring, I'd believe they still want other stuff as brands and stuff. So if Liam does have ideas for more episodes/seasons, I'd think they'll help him do it. I may be a bit biased, since MD did became my favourite show, but I still want to hold onto the hope

Almost everyone seems to think that Uzi sees Copper 9 completely destroyed in the end scene, but you can clearly see that most of the planet is still intact and that there is "just" a big explosion going on. While I expect the planet to collapse at the end of episode 8, it didn't happen yet when Uzi finds herself in space.

I think it's almost confirmed that there will be episode 8, because in the last episode the ending is "open" with many unanswered questions. Even if it takes a while, I think the series will continue, it has a vast universe to explore.

What came to my mind for doll is since we saw cyn eating her core he just slurps and swallows it whole, not grinding it up. Since doll is so badass I can imagion she cuts herself out of cyn with her claws or somehow gets cyn to throw up her core and survives, another thing is like how in episode 2 we saw the solver rebuilding J`s body since doll would still have her solver it could build her a new body.

Forever.” -Doll’s figure description Could just be a quirky ominous description they come up with, or it could indicate where Doll’s story goes next, perhaps while her regular drone self is gone, since she was killed directly by the solver, perhaps she’ll now be a part of it and still exist within its sort of hive-mind? Maybe she’ll be able to act as a sort of spy from within and communicate with Uzi and co as an eldritch force-ghost type deal? As for Tessa, we still don’t know the exact circumstances that led to her being dead, she most likely is, but I still think theres potential for her to still be part of the story beyond just a few mentions or flashbacks. Perhaps theres an AI backup of her out there somewhere that’ll be discovered by J? The real Tessa is gone, and this AI copy of her will have to deal with the fact she’s just that, a copy, but will still try the best of her ability to help save the universe as the real Tessa would. Honestly though your thoughts on both Doll and Tessa’s ends were pretty much spot-on to my own, not bad, but kinda a huge bummer. Doll I was expecting to die, but not like that… and Tessa, no way can they just get rid of one of the most influential characters in the series backstory like that so early! (Also I just want Spacesuit Tessa to make a return for real with AI Tessa, maybe with a screen face instead of a black void reflection in the helmet). Lastly I don’t believe Copper-9 will be completely destroyed, the drones at the colony will likely make it out ok. I do think S2 will feature going to new exoplanets, but I don’t believe Copper-9 will be lost in the process, even from the end of Ep 7 it still didn’t look 100% destroyed. So maybe not as much drone death as you think… Thats all I gotta say, great analysis as always!

l agree with your statements in the video. l really don't think one last episode is enough to wrap up everything. Bcuz if it did, it would just feel rushed unless they made the episode more longer or make another season. There is just still so much story that needs to be explored and characters to have potential development and interactions. If they finish it without tying up the loose ends, it would just feel unsatisfying (although not every mystery needs to be solved) so best to be fine with it. Whether we get a second season or not, that's up to the finale to make that call. l really do hope there is a second season, but if not, I'm just glad that this series exist and l got to experience it.

Yeah, I’m tired of people saying the planet was destroyed when it’s so obvious it’s fine lol. I do think copper 9 will be destroyed in episode 8 though, since there’s that whole setup with N getting the keys to the spaceship. Plus, all of the noteworthy characters are currently all in the same place, minus N and Uzi, though N is heading there likely. We all know N is gonna save Uzi with the spaceship, I think there’s likely gonna be a conflict where everyone escapes from the planet, saving Uzi in the process, and the solver destroys the planet, setting up a second season where we explore different planets

Season 2 could happen because there is so much more that can and should be expanded on in a second season. Yes there were big reveals in ep 7, but there is SO much we dont know about the MD universe that they could easily raise the stakes or bring new things in to make a season 2 that isnt filler

GUYS I GOT A THEORY ABOUT A.S, one question why uzi doesnt melt from sun if she is a zombie drone and drones like N J V and UZI burn to sun light, then i have a theory if she doesnt melt even being at the sunlight right into her this mean that she losed A.S making her not burning any more, but there is a problem if A.S being killed take away the ability of moving things and being burn by sun then it means UZI and all the murder drones like N V and J cant regenerate anymore bc thats something that the A.S do, then it kinda mean they were able to kill it at the end but what if it means none of them can regenerate so they dying by anything is possible so V cant regenerate and N and J cant or even uzi so i think maybe N, V or J will die for ever in ep 8 (probably J). oh and remember back ups are from the A.S so it means they dont work anymore.

In the glitch inn video, Kevin and Luke said they have the future of the channel all planned out. They have Digital Circus, The Gastlight District which is their new show that is coming soon and the finale of Murder Drones so sadly the show might end after episode 8. But there's still a chance that season 2 will hapen, after they announced the upcoming projects they also said that they have other unannounced projects in the works and just maybe one of them is a Murder Drones season 2.

Season 2 is still possible, here's the things : - remember in the first episode that N, V and J sended to copper 9 by the company, J mention to N that they're can be top team (idk if this thing is still relevant). So that means they'll still more of murder drones out there and *"maybe"* in the season 2 we'll gonna meet more of them and getting more information things

Well... J's just weird like that. In episode 4 we see her call Tessa's family "Corporate". So, she could be referring to any kind of authority this way. But, there are surely more murder drones. This is obvious from how in ep 6 there are numerous bodies in the complex, Alice has "hearts" in the oven and uses disassembly drone parts for her needs. Quite possibly, Cyn has been sending disassembly drones to clear this location for herself as this location has some significance for her goals. But later she might have paused her efforts due to how they couldn't get past the elevator due to the keybug being probably stolen by some experiment. Sadly, this doesn't hold water, as she arives on the planet before any of the hosts of the AbSolver got their hands on the keybug. Possibly, she could have known that Doll is looking for it, but that would not be enough to prompt her to go there herself. Except, she might have realized that UZI is a potentially more useful host than Doll in terms of information. I mean, she could have known that Khan knew the lead to where the keybug can be, he was there, saving Nori. After getting the location, she might have tried to get there before Uzi. Failing that, she might have used the solver to turn V and N against her, prompting V to kill Uzi, so Cyn can collect the keybug. Failing that, she could have provoked Doll to get the keybug and used her influence over N and V as the administrator to hold back UZI.

If you mean that we don't know how N, V, Doll and Uzi got the solver: Cyn rebuilt N and V and tampered with their memories and programming, quite likely, putting solver in them. Doll and Uzi got it from their mothers, who got deliberately infected by humans. Also, solver tends spontaniously manifests in drones that "woke up" after software death.

Possibly through repeatedly killing and resurrecting them, until it manifested. In Episode 6 Cyn/Tessa explains it to N. But, I agree, we can't know if she has lied to us. Now that the staff of Glitch Productions is at MomoCon in Atlanta, Georgia, I'm definitely hoping that there are three rumors that Glitch is planning. Their either going to talk about season 2 of Murder Drones, episode 8 of Murder Drones, or episode 3 of Digital Circus (which is not related to the Murder Drones segment). But if either one of the rumors are going to happening at MomoCon, then I'm going to drink two Monster Energy drinks and bounce off my apartment until I wear myself out. It's too bad I'm not going to MomoCon because my heart belongs to going to KadabraCon in Corpus Christi, Texas to not only see Lizzie Freeman again and meet the cast of Digital Circus. But in order to get less stress from paying my bills and rent, then I'm going to get the hotel reservations at the KadabraCon location, and then work my way to get cash at Corpus Christi, Texas. Keep in mind, too. Once Glitch releases the pilot episode of The Gaslight District, and their going to make Season 1 of The Gaslight District, then their going to have questions about the picture on The Gaslight District, the decipher of the symbols, and why the World came to end and the scary looking crows and the weird zombie things. Murder Drones is going to be a banger. The next chapter for Glitches to Riches after Getting Digitally Serious, might be called, All Aboard the Murder Drones Finale Express.

I agree with you, InfernoYT, season 2 of Murder Drones is still possible. However, the main reason why season 2 of Murder Drones is not happening anytime soon because Liam Vickers has unfinished business to do (such as Cliffside, Let's Split Up, and Intercection Cube for a example) after he's done working with Glitch Productions for the last episode of Murder Drones (season 1), while Glitch Productions has to work with GooseWorx and PartTimeSeagull for the rest of The Amazing Digital Circus series and The Gaslight District series. Once Glitch Productions is done working with GooseWorx and PartTimeSeagull for the rest of The Amazing Digital Circus series and The Gaslight District series, Glitch Productions will go back to work with Liam Vickers for Murder Drones season 2, and the 2nd season of Murder Drones will release around 2027.

Ok, so I do hope there will be more seasons. For Doll: heck, "just" cut her out of Cyn's stomach (even if that is unlikely) and yeah, if you look at ep7's last scene, and compare the moon positions of that scene and the scene with the explosion, for me at least, it looks like a few hours have passed and keep in mind, Uzi does in direct sunlight So yeah, I can totally see ep8's majority will be spent dealing with J, hopefully reuniting with V, and don't forget that in ep6 we see quite a few drone cores in the oven where Uzi and V were kept. Maybe hopefully they manage to turn J to their side, maybe get some drones too and blast off to Space and get Uzi and Nori. It would be an idea for season 2 that they try to go to other planets (in ep6 when "Tessa" shows N Earth, she also shows him other planets that Humans colonized and at least 2 of them weren't shown to be corrupted yet) I personally hope we will have more N and Uzi things And that the Absolute Solver's origin is Earth so maybe they'd need to go there and destroy some kind of source Buuut, if ep8 will be that last season, I have a bad feeling they'd end things with sacrifices and I will cry XD Let's hope that at the convention that Glitch is going to, that should be around these days, we'll get good news not just about ep8, but more seasons too.

I think that there will be a season 2 and i have many ideas about what could be there. 1. In the pilot, J said that "they might make the top team" when they got a way to get to the Workers by breaking the doors. That means there are more Murder Drones on other Exoplanets, that means there must be more independent, humanless Worker colonies that Cyn wants to take over. The main cast after the destruction of Copper 9 might go there to stop Cyn from destroying another planet. 2. Speaking of other Worker colonies, there might be planets that have Workers under the control of humans. After meeting Workers that mimic humans and have their own personality bc they lost their humans, they might rebel and free robots not only on their planet, but also on other planets, making a classic robo apocalypse. 3. JcJenson might really go out their way and try to stop Workers from getting independent, just probably use humans as their main force. 4. Nori's revival. Nori might be alive, but only her core, so i believe having a proper body that isn't as vulnerable is a thing that should happen, but definetly won't in episode 8. Overall, i think this show deserves a 2nd season, but even if not, I NEED N & UZI TOGETHER PLEEEAASEEE 😭😭❤️

One thing i am also confident that there will be a season 2 is like you said going to other planets but i would like to add that the series sets itself up in space so i think it would be interesting to see solver or the cast interact with alien life and how solver affects different non human planets and how the aliens respond to it aswell as see any other goals solver has since in episode 4 there is the arrow thay turned into an organic thing and there is also solver affecting the drones turning them semi organic which could be a future aspect that could he explored in future seasons and that is not to mention the many biblical themes the show has. But what do i know im just throwing my 2 cents in here.

TBH, Murder Drones season 2 is definitely possible. There are tons of unsolved mysteries that no single episode can absolutely solve (pun intended), for example, if V is alive/dead, a bunch of stuff about the Absolute Solver,, the Earth itself in it's current state, heck, the potential other murder drones (as seen from the episode 5 trailer and from J's statement that there are different teams i.e. more groups of Disassembly Drones alike to N, V, J, &/or Cyn), and more, like some upbringing of background characters as done with Doll, Lizzy, Thad, and more, "Chad," who (Giga-)Thad mentioned in the pilot for the series as having "classic toxic masculinity," and many, many, more. TL;DR: MD S2 is likely a thing in the future because of not absolutely solved mysteries, tons of 'em.

I hope there is a future season or more for MD as long as the final for season 1 wasn’t changed for the worse in order to make more seasons happen but it probably wouldn’t because I don’t think Cyn can be stopped at copper-9 by N, maybe J, and V if she can be saved. There’s also the question I’ve had for a while, where’s the humans? Not on copper-9 and earth because of obvious reasons but humanity had other planets with human colonies so they had to have had some kind of space military and if they had a planet for mining copper maybe they have a planet like Reach from the Halo universe that main purpose is housing and making humanities military needs.

Honestly I think that if Glitch is going to stick to one season for MD, then the final/eighth episode is going to have to be very long considering that they would have to answer a lot of questions. But considering how good a sow like this is I am hoping for a season 2 because it will be hard for them to fit all of the information to fill in the story.

What if episode 8 is actually the first episode of season 2? I feel like there is a good chance for it. Episode 7 has a big cliff hanger, like one so big you’d usually see something like that at the end of a season in a real show.

I already figured a season 3 might happen because i thought maybey the 3 space pods going towards earth, on episode one, and we only got a glimpse of them pods so i thought and thought. But then i thought if we only saw one of them land, then maybe that means 1 space pod = 1 season so since theres 2 of them yet to land that means 2 more seasons or season 2 will be focused on the 2. I finally watched Meta Runner and enjoyed it. The ending was good yet left room for interpretation or fan fiction on what happened after that. Murder Drones has done even better than MR and TADC has gotten even more views than MD. Sunset Paradise was nice and I like Meggy but to learn more about Meggy one has to go watch SMG4 videos. Tari from MR being in that channel’s videos too. Anyhoo, I do like MD a lot and depending on how Liam and Glitch end episode 8 will determine whether or not a season 2 is a go.

The planet with a ring around it (Saturn maybe?) is always right above Copper-9 so if anything it being there makes it even more likely that the destroyed planet at the end is Copper-9.

I doubt there will be a Season 2, and it’s all just because of where the plot is going. We can see it’s story coming to a close, such as Doll’s death, V’s (unlikely) death, and Tessa being Cyn. And if there’s a season 2, then I feel like it would be unnecessary to have.
