When I was young, I lived with my father for 11 years. During that time I went through a lot of psychological torture and was literally enslaved. I became deeply depressed and my only escape from reality was video games. That's where I met Majora's Mask. The first time I cried to this song was in Ikana Valley. Then life forced me to forget about video games. As the years went by, my heart froze more and more. And now, after so many years, I'm listening to this song and it's managed to make me cry again. In the end, I think this song really does heal a heart.

Now when i hear the song of healing (in german it's called Lied der Befreiung, which means song of freeing, what is a very accurate translation) it just calms my stressed mind

It was black the whole time, but that's okay! The brain does not create consciousness/awareness. There is also no such thing as nothingness, and you're always seeing something. Seven years ago I was still undiagnosed for my persistent depressive disorder and generalized anxiety disorder. I was in the worst state of my life and I had just lost a girlfriend, a best friend, and a grandmother. I was mid-way through my playthrough of Majora's Mask, but not even I knew if I was going to be able to finish it because I was struggling thoughts of self-harm and I'm ashamed to say thoughts of suicide. Then I heard this song. It made me feel an emotion that had long eluded me: hope. It wouldn't be for a while until I could say I was happy again, but this song made me feel as though my pain was all that defined me, and that I still had a lot of work to do before I could throw in the towel. After a few more songs down the road and a lot of support from those dearest to me, I had the inspiration and courage to get diagnosed and treated for my depression and anxiety. Today, I can say that I'm a healed man, but I still struggle daily with dark thoughts and debilitating episodes. Listening to this song again makes me feel so at peace. Since that time seven years ago, I lost many more love interests, companions, and family members, but I'm able to keep looking forward because of them. I just wanted to say that it's because of the Song of Healing and the channel's rendition of it that I was able to start the journey to changing my fate, and I hope that if anyone who was like me is reading this today that you may find the strength in your to do the same. Until we meet again.

My best friend showed me this song.. Ive got lots of memories with the song... He showed it to me in the middle of the night, while we were on a call. The song of healing heals all three kinds of wounds. Deku Link, physical. As Link was fused with a Deku Spirit and turned him into a Deku. Goron Link, mental as the Goron Ghost didn’t know he was dead or what killed him at first. Zora Link, emotional as Mikaru was dying yes but also was in emotional turmoil from failing to get Lulu’s eggs back. Pamela’s father was all three. Physical from being cursed into a Gibdo, mental from he didn’t know what was going on, and emotional as shown if you approach him he still emotional knew his daughter but it was too much to bare seeing her. So the song of healing healed him of all three.

Retro_64 because you have feelings. it's okay I feel it too. think of the meaning of healing. you've suffered a grave injury or suffered emotional damage. healing is a painful process. ....it can sometimes be more painful than the initial injury. Ya know, the song itself hits hard already when you know the story if the game, but adding lyrics to it hits on a whole different level of hard. I bet if the song had these lyrics or at least some similar ones when the game got released things would be real different back then. Awesome cover. Just beautiful.

this song...its something i cant even put intl words. ive been listening to this song ever since it came out in 2017. its 2022. every timie i listen to this song instead of thinking ofthe game and the expiriences it has given me, i think of my own past, my many many many mistakes, how i tried and failed to find who i am and what my purpose is in life. i think of my family. this song makes me wish i was a kid again. i would do anything to go back and fix it all. to invest more time into the ones that i had so little time with. death is a part of life that is unavoidable. yet you can accept it and move on. to let bygones be bygones and die in peace. this song remides me of the death expeiriences i have had. from losing those i love to almsot dying several times myself. but to those reading this: its never too late to turn your life for the better, to find your purpose and live a rich and fufilling life. dont make the same mistakes i did. cherish those you love. hold what you love daerly and closely. find who you are and what you want to do. never stop striving to carve your own path. push to be the best person you can be. so that way when it is your time, you will be happy with the live you have had. so then, you can rest in peace. never forget. and no matter what, treat evreyone you meet with kindness. since those you have treated well earlier in life may sing their own song of healing for you and your life. this is what i had to say.

Forgiveness and healing seem to be the overarching theme, as you help many people along the way find healing for their regrets, and in the end you help the Skullkid find forgiveness and healing
