I find it hard though. Thats why I want to see Lex interview Putin. From what I have pieced together NATO screwed him around so many times and called his bluff so many times that eventually he put his foot down and it just happened it was Ukraine, and the west has made a huge deal out of it, unlike the other 55 wars currently going on, 90% of people cant even name them even though they are closer to the US or larger wars or wars that have raged since the 50s or 70s.

And regardless of what Ukraine wanted for itself, look at the damage they have done to themselves and NATO countries. The most sensible position would be to remain neutral, and that could’ve even been made to their advantage in many ways. NATO did this to Ukraine, and the likes of Zelenskyy facilitated it for personal profit. It was regarded as one of the most corrupt countries in Europe, I presume now it is the most corrupt. Putin's pre-emptive strike against NATO aggression will now save the world from the globalist NWO agenda. Our World Now Not theirs.
@carlbervin818321 күн бұрын
@evulclown On the topic of Ukraine's sovereignity in Putin's own 5,000 word essay titled "On the Historical Unity of the Russians and Ukraianians" released in July 2021 (just 7 months before he launched his SMO, more like undeclared war) he stated that Ukraine is not a real country and has no right to sovereignity at any time in the future. But rather along with Belarus and Russia Ukraine forms one Eastern European Slavic Race that should be united. Despite Ukraine becoming a sovereign independent state when the USSR collapsed in 1991 Putin has never acknowledged its sovereignity but thinks of it as an artifical state. And this is the problem and explains where we are at today. If Putin had recognised Ukraine's sovereignty he wouldn't have annexed the Crimean Peninsula in 2014 or invaded the Ukraine in 2022.
@carlbervin818321 күн бұрын
@@tazzioboca One of the requirements of the Minsk Accords was that Russia was required to seal its border along the Donbas to stop the flow of weapons to pro-Russian milita groups and to stop Russian mercenries from entering the Donbas. Russia failed to do this. In fact it could be argued that for 8 years Putin conducted a virtual proxy war against the Ukrainian Government by supplying weapons to the large pro-Russian milita groups of the DPR and LPR supported by volunteers from the Russian Federation.

During 2022, but before Minsk 1&2? Minsk was long before this. Anyway, what ceasefire are you talking about, and what obligations?
@cryptomoney659521 күн бұрын
@Maplatter obligation of the guarantors is to ensure no NATO status for Ukraine which is very crucial for Russia and other things on the Minsk agreement but none was implemented
@Maplatter21 күн бұрын
@cryptomoney6595 Oh, so you're reffering to Minsk, yeah nothing was implemented from the Russian side either. The first steps were a complete ceasefire, and withdrawal of forces from frontlines, and this failed straight away. In fact it was DPR forces who derailed Minsk-1 with their offensive advances past the intended ceasefire date. The next few years were stale, but occasional artillery exchanges continued. It's fair to criticise, but you can't just blame Ukraine, when this was a 2-side deal. I'd argue that the unresolved proxy war in Donbas was beneficial to Russia, as for Ukraine, they just wanted to return their territory.
@cryptomoney659521 күн бұрын
@@Maplatter wow, I guess you're not informed on the true deal of Minsk. Russia did withdraw their troops before Minsk 2 but Ukraine used it to get more equipment and armament and decided that they will fight for US interest instead of their neighbors. The start of this war was as a result of zelenzky who took office after coup d'etat in 2014 decided that Ukraine won't abandon NATO ambition which even US won't be okay with if it's Russia keeping military base thats very close to it's border
@Maplatter21 күн бұрын
@cryptomoney6595 Your basic facts are just wrong, Russia at the time didn't officially admit to even having forces in Donbas, let alone withdraw anything. Minsk obliged Russian separatists, who themselves never implemented any steps, instead continued fighting. Like I said, Minsk-1 was defacto derailed by their offensive actions in the late summer of 2014, their advances leading to greater escalation. As for Zelensky, he only took power after 2019 election. The war in Donbas was stale at this time, though, like I said, artillery exchanges between the 2 sides were fairly common. Either way, you cannot just blame Ukraine. they're the ones who's sovereignty is being violated.

First of all I want to mention that I am very sorry that we have got in this terrible situation where many young people die every single day on both sides. Also I want to say that I don't take side in this terrible war. The only thing that I am hoping for is the peace to humanity. All what he describes is the period after 2014 when some of the real problems ignited (the annexed Crimea have not come out of a thin air). When the fire is on its not that easy to find the common ground. He doesn't point at the core issue that causing the problem from the Russian point of view.. if you are the Russian you does not want to have NATO at you border especially in front of the capital city.. If you look at the map you will see that in front of the Moscow there is no any natural obstacle all of the way to the Dnipro river.. This is the weak point of Russian Federation that were exploited a couple of times in the past.. We've seen that the NATO had some aggressive actions in the past (bombing of Serbia in 1999) .. For all of you who think that the Russians are not provoked imagine yourself as the president of the Russian facing the expansion of a NATO that could potentially be a real problem in the future.. I do not say that the Russian have not done anything really bad in the past, they did as the majority of any long lasting country unfortunately. We can not calculate who is responsible for what and for how much for wrong doings.. But keep in mind that the Russian has greater means to prevail in this war as they have bigger resources and population, the only way to win over Russia is direct involvement of a NATO.. Anyone how pushes Ukraine to continue the war need to seriously think of the consequences that Ukraine will suffer or take the arm in your hand and go to the front line.

Maybe someone attacked Russia? Only Russia attacks and occupies other countries ---- Afghanistan, Nagorno-Karabakh, Chechnya, stole Abkhazia from Georgia, Transnistria from Moldova, Crimea and Donbas from Ukraine, wants to occupy all of Ukraine, wants to take away lands from Kazakhstan, etc. So far, only those countries that joined NATO after the collapse of the USSR are safe -- Russia is still afraid to attack NATO countries - Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland... now Finland has also quickly applied to NATO --- they were all threatened by Russian aggression. All of Russia consists of occupied territories -- Tatarstan, Yakutia, Dagestan, Bashkiria, Tuva, Karelia, Chuvashia, Ossetia, etc.
