The west did never had a plan to make win Ukraine, their plan was always for a long lasting war to weaken Russia and their economy. That's why they provided Ukraine the equipments and support that are too little and too late, every time, whether it was the tanks, artillery or f16. Imagine they received the tanks before Russia made the Surovikin line. And that's why they didn't allow Ukraine to hit deep inside Russia. The west had no plan at all. There also was no intention to support too little, too late. All western countries (US included) donated what they thought could be missed and would not escalate the conflict into a nuclear disaster. Zelensky decided not to sign the 2022 Istanbul peace deal agreed by both sides, knowing that he would be heavily dependent on external financial and military support. Now saying that UA is losing because that support was not enough or he's not "allowed" to attack deep into Russia is admitting that his strategy was unrealistic and flawed from the beginning. Ukraine will lose this war, Period.

sounds like Zelenski is "going to the end" or "taking it to the end" however you say it. It is easy to big talk when you have the US, and to a far lesser extent the EU basically running the war, paying for it and supporting it, and likely directing or strategizing it or atleast helping to. Without that, Z is done. So, to sum it up, the US will either say Z has to negotiate, and if he does not, the US can say, we won't be paying you any more, or the US can continue to pay for Ukraine's war for the next 10 or 20 years. To sum it all up,... Z's plan is "to the last US dollar", or to slyly get the US to go into the war and fight Ukraine's war by drawing in NATO somehow, which is probably his primary strategy.

Russia has not even entered a full-scale war state, and Russia can still calmly have millions of troops. Fact: If NATO does not deploy troops on a large scale, Ukraine cannot defeat Russia. Once NATO troops fight Russia, China will also join. China cannot let Russia be dismembered by NATO and then dismember China.
