The patch sux...the gameplay is so heavy... dribling sux, corners still op...the ground passes were ok. Should only touched a bit of the speed...

So now we can't defend against sprinting + L1 spam. The defense automatically tackle incorrectly when holding hockey causing them to lock into an animation. No skill required, just run straight and hope for the best 👏 👏

Corners are still OP! I've also conceded many headers! Ball goes through my defenders too! Much better than before but still a long way to go imo!

They need to speed the game play up a little bit. The patch has just slowed everything down too much. Its difficult to build passing moves now because all your players take too long to cycle the ball. It means your better off dribbling vast distances which isnt realistic. Ball moves faster than the player in any sport...

I like the update for the most part, but my main concern now are ground passes i agree passing needed to be nerfed but as someone who passes the ball a lot i can feel the difference. Now very easy lateral one touch passes are missed a lot even on the strong foot and a lot of animations are slowed down. But in general i like where this is going

Struggling to adapt with the update. I also feel like players off the ball especially wings are doing the teleport thing/suddenly start running back at crazy quick speeds. Defo some weird stuff going on.

The defender glitch sucks... But my finesse shots doesn't work anymore. So sad. But overall the game is better than before the update.

Why is it when my game loses connection when im in a winning position it gets registered as cancelled with no chsnge, but when im drawing or losing it gets logged as a loss??!!

Rubbish. Not have any joy playing at all. Game is even worst then before. Played yesterday horrible and wasted my time today again. Before that patch was fun and enjoying but now i started missing fck EAFC. Hope they take that patch back.

not worth the time. most people spent money because of that and now the game will die because of that . •it feels too much like e football . •not enough people left playing for fun • now every goal conceded feels like a bad goal which creates a toxic game space where you get angry as you play

EA FC new gameplay patch will be final nail to the coffin on UFL. Plus TOTY content is coming soon. Everyone will jump back to EA FC, even if it's for a week only. UFL has been dead in the water for few weeks now tho. Finding players to play against takes ages.

Great video Zelonius! I played several games with my friend last night. I felt the gameplay has been improved. Crossing and corners seem less OP. I am intrigued to see where the game goes next. Me and my friend both think the gameplay now feels better than FC / Fifa. Do you prefer it as well?

I do the same. Its a strategy. It does not stop the game matchmaking against him in the future but in the kit selection screen you know you are about to play someone you blocked before so you go in the game with extra attention/effort.

IMO they nerf the passing way to hard, my Pedri card has become completely useless with the patch, straight forward passes are getting intercepted because every players has ballon’s on their feet, doesn’t even seem worth passing anymore.

Im just a silver 1 goober and the gameplay has devolved into running around the midfield trying to bait the opp into a weird move. I’ve played 12 games post patch and have scored 7 goals and given up 3. It’s very boring.

I had fun before,they ruined the game with this patch,rebounds are all over the place,fake shots not working as it used to,finesse not working,headers not working,wtf is working???

The only problem before was the corners and headers, yea you could switch sides too easily but that does not garantee a goal, now its just impossible to switch, like thats not a thing in fut 😅 Passing is just horrible players are just heavy as fck, the gameplay its getting worse and worse. I enjoyed the game to date but now i Will probably delete it because its just horrible to play. Not to mention that one of the bigger problems was the matchmaking in showdown and they didnt do a thing to it, just garbage of a patch.

Re-downloaded the game after seeing there was a patch, insta deleted the game 5 mins into the first game. It's literally worse than fc25. Never downloading this garbage again haha

I think this patch exposed loads of what is wrong with the core gameplay mechanics. All I really want for defending is for second man press to actually do something. The second man just runs circles around the attacker. I don't want to call it scripting, but examples you show reek of whatever is similar to it. The meta now seems to be fast and agile players doing zigzags. I was able to run past everyone with Godfrey who is a defender and score. I'm not proud of it but I feel like defending is broken if he can just do that.
