Welcome to Codenames! We're split up into two teams and have to guess our "secret" words before the opposing team. Each team has a spymaster who can see the entire board. The spymaster comes up with a word or phrase that can link as many correct words together as possible WITHOUT linking the opposing team's words. And if the gray word is chosen by either team, it's game over. Super fun game. I love being spymaster and losing my mind listening to my teammates figuring it out lol. Feels very much like being dead in Among Us and shouting at my computer monitor. Enjoy!

@@tokatstorm9270 That's actually a good one if the people you're with know Biblical contexts for the words, because then you get: Mercury, Jet and Soul with the only matching blues being Theater, Beijing and Drone. Sadly most people seem to have forgotten Biblical context and so it would have likely gotten Soul and Beijing if they made the stretch assumption that Ze was hinting at Asian locations and thought he was hinting at South Korea, Seoul City which isn't an option while Beijing is.

You really missed a strong code word for that first round - Runway was the best choice, for 4. Runway for Jet, park, bikini and as a slight stretch, Chain. Funny enough, that last one, I thought of and realized it was Calf JUST BEFORE you guys decided to fully commit to Death (literally in more ways than one haha). But Calf is also the correct spelling for the calf on each leg. It only uses the "ve" when you refer to them in plural - Calves.I was sincerely thinking Knight or Wonderland for the last one. And it's Las Vegas Golden Knights.

Oh that horrifying moment of picking between "theater" and "plot", winning or losing the game in an instant... That's the problem, because you can't pick something more specific for "theater" or "Beijing" since it won't link them together, but you also can't say something less specific because it will always lead back to "plot", no matter what. It always makes for an interesting game when the black tile happens to be an especially multi-connected word. I once played as spymaster with the black tile being "Olympus". I think we lost that on the last turn. To the people claiming that "Mulan is only on Disney +", here's a Wikipedia line for y'all: "Mulan is a Disney media franchise that began in 1998 with the theatrical release of Mulan". Who tf thinks of Mulan 2020 before Mulan 1998? Am I a boomer? Do people do that already? Aw man.
