Having "four factions but you can't even trust your teammates" is quite the extra layer of mind flummery. And "premarital relations" cracked me up harder than it should have. The censor filter is a thing of beauty in Town of Salem.

4-Way Deadlock is a mode that forces you to learn an important lesson: Sometimes, it's best to just be honest with town about your evil role, and try instead to convince them that a different person is a bigger threat.

When i see the Flash and Thunder duo combine, it brightens my dark soul. Having Minx back on ToS2 is just a cherry on top. This brings back classic ToS series. The banter, the arguments, and how well the lies were back then (i still miss the Mafia roles, escort role, and other roles it had from the OG ToS). Thank you, Zeeeeeeeeee 😊❤

Fun fact: Technically the Danish didnt come up with the word danish... here in Denmark its called Vienna bread (Wienerbrød) based on the fact that there was a strike of danish bakers in the 1850, which was filled with bakers from, you guessed it, Vienna. And the danish is based on pastry style from Austria, exported from Denmark to the US hence the name the danish (which is shortform of danish pastry).

@@JDM-is-my-name You had the right word, I was just using a different emphasis, your sentence was emphasizing it's use linguistically, that it's an adjective, while I was emphasizing the fact that while it is used to describe the people, it's not the correct word, as the correct word is Danes.

Honestly it's so good to hear from minx (RPGminx / krinxshow) . It's been a while since I watched one of the streams/videos but it wearms my heart that they seem to be doing well.

From what I could tell, they post once in a blue moon on their rpgminx channel, but post more regularly on their krinxshow youtube & I'm pretty sure they stream on their krinxshow twitch name too.

I feel like this mode needs one more person on the green team, maybe prosecutor or veteran. So if Vik was around, it'd be a perfect balance.

This gamemode was fun. While possibly not the most balanced I do feel like there is technically a chance for every faction to win. It's just not really all that easy, and role calling is the death of the evil.

Ze did you know that the danish where used to be known as danish vikings during the viking raids on the anglo saxons during AD 865, they mostly where responsable for raids in the east of england

I think xeen didnt die cuz by that point he was pestilence and cannot die durring the night time. In tos 1 there was a rare occurrence where in lovers mode if pb had a lover that died AFTER they became pest they got a special message stating their heart is dead or some shit and they kept playing

This was a very fun game mode to see you all try out! I know it wasn't the most balanced mode, and that role-calling was rough since evils had no way to lie effectively, but it was still very chaotic and exciting to watch how events unfolded as they did! Ze's Apocalypse luck was strong today, even with X33n's attempts to betray the team, which was a good counter-balance to his abysmal Jackal luck. At least Ze's rounds weren't as stressful as Chilled, who seemed to be losing his mind each time he was a Jackal, lol. The Coven round was also a bit unlucky, though some of that can be chalked up to Chibi's sense of humor, lol. I think this was an interesting experiment and I'm excited to see what other fun modes this lobby will try next!

They're persistent in trying to do stage 1 of enshittification, that's for sure. Too bad for them that Steam is so strongly entrenched and Valve don't seem interested in following the playbook quite as closely.

If only you could have larger lobbies throw in a confirmed Tavern keeper, cleric, vigi, coven town traitor, jester, exe, Inquisitor, and pirate, force one coven to ritualist would also disable conjurer and wildling I feel this would balance it out a bit more in favor of both town and coven since I didn’t see anyone but apocalypse win, but you would have to have the lobby size

I actually think Chibi had the chance to win as Mayor in that last game. If she had voted out the Bers (who would become war that night) and the two other factions killed each other (Jackal and Coven Leader), Mayor would have been only survivor. If one faction aimed for Mayor instead, they would be killed by the other and lose. Bers didn't have to worry about being killed at night because they become War before the kill goes through and have total defense, leaving them to be the only one who isn't afraid of the other killing roles and instead need Mayor out as their win condition. It was the best chance Chibi had to win.

Jackal definitely makes gridlock more interesting, otherwise it'd be just a normal game for this lobby (50% baddies 20% neutral and 30% town)

Why is there a hypothetical where you're eating cookies in the dark and are expecting chocolate chip but get oatmeal raisin? Are you kidnapped by Saw and he's feeding you cookies until you die? Like if you're eating the cookies as a midnight snack and don't like one kind, why did you buy that kind in the first place? Shouldn't it not even be in your house to confuse with another kind of cookie?
