Go around is a common decision for pilots to make for several reasons. The pilot could have easily noticed a tailwind suddenly pick up, that they were going too fast, that the runway could be a little bit too wet for their current speed, or just having a bad feeling. The pilot is ultimately the one that makes the decision whether to execute the landing or not, and that is on purpose for safety reasons.

there was a flight i was in that had to go-around 3x, due to strong winds and stuff. plane couldn't land straight, and there was no way they could use that sideways manaveuer

@@trespassinggiraffe5443Pilots are allowed to go around any number of times. It's a dangerous enough maneuver that a pilot would not commit to a go around for fun or anything like that.

The thing to keep in mind about a pilot choosing to do a go-around (and go back up) is that it means the pilot is properly taking the situation seriously and has your safety as their #1 priority. They are not too prideful to force a landing when something seems off, and because of it, you're here to tell the tale. I'll take those pilots over pilots who don't want to frighten passengers by choosing to do a go-around :)

The continuation of the All Any games have provided so much entertainment! I really enjoyed Ze testing the limits of vulgarity during the night times, the saga of the honest Pirate who still ends up killing duelling partners, the Bonsai Buddies/Clippy discussion, and Larry'sGayRevengeTour getting cut short, lol. Ze not attacking Kara on X33n's request because he was worried X33n would be suspected, and not even thinking about Jackal-partners, was a very funny reveal. Apple and Ze being true teammates was another pleasant reveal, and then Ze protecting Minx accidentally almost worked out so well for them! The round where Ze was accused of being Pirate made me crack up, especially how it ended with a Vigi tragedy-shooting Chilled felt totally justified in this moment, lol. As did hanging him as the evil Cleric! Overall, this was another great video and I'm so glad to see more of these fun games from you, Ze!

1:20 There’s so many reasons a go-around can occur that are completely normal and reasonable. Sky Harbor (PHX, shoutout) doesn’t normally suffer inclement weather but it could’ve been as simple as the pilot took too much of the runway in the air and won’t stop in time on the ground, unexpected debris on the runway, etc

Runway incursion by another plane and the tower gave emergency go around. Those are way less likely but can still happen.

It's called Chatterbox, they have to meet the quota for the day via Speaking. If they don't meet the requirements for the day they get hung in text chat and they get hung they don't win. The only time the Chatterbox mechanic doesn't apply to you is if you start as Executioner and your target dies.

Planes I've been on we had a way to listen to flight communications. Between pilots and other planes, and center, approach, tower ground control etc. So there was a reason for the go around wether it was small, or large problem we will never know. You made it theough.

The aeroplane pulling up is a common thing at Madeira Airport because the runway is pretty short and is close to the mountains, so the landing is a bit difficult.

I've had pilots circle sometimes multiple times, especially in snowstorms... I dunno, it's never really concerned me. One time we started descending and got some awful turbulence (hilariously the guy next to me was trying to put in contact lenses) so the pilot just picked us up again and it was a lot smoother the next go. (Which I appreciated a lot because I didn't want the guy next to me to jab his own eye out lol)

Chatterbox was with the update for new pirate and changes to roles. It discourages Quiet Jester Plays. If your exe, and your target dies at night then you become Jester like in TOS1, and the Chatterbox mechanic doesn’t hit till 2-3 days after.
