I have now tried a few and I want to say this belt system is the best. Far better than those green, rubber ones. I still have a few questions: For larger windows, using center close, how do you have the system work with multiple panels? I am using the 4-5 meter systems. This is close to 200 feet. What is max weight it can handle? Those hooks on the end that cover the battery and end clip pieces would not stay up. They just kept drooping as if I was pulling on it to trigger open/close motion. I want to use one I had initially purchased for a dual track system for a longer window for a smaller window, how do I remove track without messing up the metal belt? Is there a video? Is there a multichannel remote that is compatible? I now have 4. I want to do more. I have had some issues but feel there are more “pros” vs. “cons” with the Matter Zemismart track.

Is it possible to release the Positioner after it has been installed to dismantle the track in sections? If so, how?

yes,it can.open the sub carrier,and pull the locator back to the main track and you can remove the track.

i have a difficult for apple home iot set up. I have difficulty configuring Apple Home iot. I bought an Apple TV 4k 3rd Generation (A2843) for the Material Thread router, but when I try to connect in the iPhone Home app, I get a message that I can't pair with this accessory. Is it impossible to control the matter thread of this curtain with only apple tv?

Do you need to buy the hub to connect it through matter? A simple apple TV won't work?

I have a home pod and Apple TV. Both work. I initially setup via my iPad though and the app to get it up and working. It can be challenging. Make sure bluetooth is on and if you have a hub for any smart items like Nest/thermostats or security, make sure you are on the same network as the device acting as the hub. The Apple homepod and TV act as the hub. FYI, if the hub/internet connection is disabled for any reason, including if you control via your phone and then come back, I have always had to do a new setup often. That is why I will be trying other devices for other rooms.

@@zemismartofficial thanks. I once contacted customer support and was informed that the S-fold hook accessory does not work with this model. Can you please double confirm that they work? I might pull the trigger if they work together.

This system drops all the time with Google Home and does not reconnect once the internet connection is re-established. It requires a new setup. It also throws off your establish center and even more challenging is you need a right/left opening vs center split. Finally got something from Apple to act as a hub, Homepod first then the TV and if the internet connection goes down, the Apple Home App just refreshes the connection and it is reestablished most of the time. However, I can just still tell Siri to open/close the drapes via the HomePod. Also Zemismart makes it hard to do a wall mount or dual track mount on the wall. If you have a 2-story area, you know why you need a wall mount. Also these go off center and if you install something heavier than a sheer, it doesn't work well. Zemismart should publish any weight limits. Those side hooks (that hide the motor), cannot hold up real draps. So unless you are gettin the lightest of light linens, sheers or store bought window coverings, not the best solution. Lastly, please do something about aesthetics and a multi-channel remote instead of a new remote per track.

I man i have similar problem, the curtain keep showing “no response” in homekit app, even though the internet connection is good, i use homepod mini as a bourder router, in the app doesn’t have any option to reconnect, any idea how to make the curtain keep connecting? I’ve 14 of the curtain and all show no response message, thanks in advance

I was wondering the same thing. Ended up ordering one. Yes, you can have it set up with one side open and yes, you just don't lock one of the pulley which makes it to stay on one side (since it's not locked, it won't engage with the belt). The only problem with this approach is that you will end up having ~15 inches of the track with the motor assembly and unlocked track exposed and not being covered with the curtain. If you're ok with it, I think it will work. Also, I didn't try, but I was thinking that you can potentially remove the unlocked runner, which will give you back ~4" of the track (the working pulley will be able to move farther, closer to the motor).
