Nice work! As the owner of 1972 boat i can confirm there is always work to do. We try to relax sailing in summer and relax working on the boat in winter.

@kees108 ❤ we get so focused on fixing sometimes we forget about the balance. Hopefully we’ll be back out on the water in a few days!

I used the Total Tread system on our 1969 Islander Excalibur 26. Put down 4 coats two years ago and its held up great and is an excellent not skid surface. The more you put on the more non skid it becomes.

Another great video. Besides the pro camera work and narration I like the no pressure take things as they come to it. I enjoy the perfection refit channels too but appreciate the more real world approach you guys have. Mahalo 😎

Thanks so much Robert. Yeah, this is very much a "nights and weekends" refit where I'm a big fan of not letting perfection get in the way of good enough!

For me the pride of seeing my boat clean and polished, well maintained, gives me deep satisfaction. As a former liveaboard it is a matter of respect for your vessel and yourself. Zen and the art of boat maintenance requires self-motivation or you pay someone to do it or it all goes to sh*t. I have seen boats at my harbor that have not been touched in years. Very sad. Great channel, Mahalo.

Wow, great Video, loved it a lot! ❤👍 The before and after is very noticable! 👌 Personally, for me there is nothing more satisfying then hosing everything down with a pressurewasher! 😄😆

I LIKE TO CRAWL ON THE DECK AND LOOK FOR MICROSCOPIC CRACKS AND CREATE STORYLINES THAT THE BOAT MAY SINK IF I DON’T DO SOMETHING ABOUT THAT VERY-CLEARLY-ONLY-A-SURFACE-ISSUE DING 😂 jkjkjk
