Nice rake technique! What half-circle tool is that originally called/for? I recently made 2 small raked-gravel karesansui - 100sqft in frontyard and 160sqft in backyard. I made 2 rakes too... the usual regular 3” tooth, and also a 5” tooth (since I had plenty of spare lumber). I love the 5” more.

It is normally used to cut sharp edges to grass lawns. I like to alter between small waves and big waves. I do have several rakes with various sizes.

Shanel Lightfoot-Brown it is not dirt. It is the same gravel but still wet from the rain. The gravel is 25 cm deep and there is plastic underneath.
