I agree. His routinely phenomenal gameplay shows that he’s making the best of his cracked mechanics by consistently seeing more options than his opponents (and maybe tm8s) and improvising exactly such moves as will work the best, faster than the rest.

Maybe I’m just not good enough to realize it wouldn’t work. But I wonder if a team could potentially shoot passes back and forth 2-3 times and score. So it’s not necessarily someone going for aerials then someone staying back could make an instant pass to air, ground, ground, score. And they wouldn’t have enough time to turn around instead of doing 1v1’s essentially every time. Almost cherry picking in a sense

It’s like the difference between Euro and South American futbol. 2 very effective ways to get the job done, but polar opposites in style of play. Euro (passive control, defense oriented to minimize chance of counterattacks, force over-extension to feed strikers breakaway opportunities) //// South America (fast paced pressure, full blitz on counters to allow a flurry of short passes, high risk/very high reward)

This is a 2v2 video, so I'll answer in that context. I've heard pros talk about why passing in 2s is so rare, and it's because there's such a high risk of the pass being intercepted (especially if it's happening more frequently and so becomes expected), or placing the second player in a bad position to be counter attacked on. 3s is an altogether different game.
