Zen Pond Step by Step Acrylic Painting on Canvas for Beginners

In this video, we're gonna get meditative and paint a zen pond with hanging flowers and balanced rocks. This is a good lesson for beginners and up.
I’m painting on a 12x16-inch stretched canvas, but you can paint on any type and size of canvas you like.
I used:
• A 1-inch flat brush
• A soft round brush without a point
I’m using Liquitex Basics acrylic paint in the following colors:
• Mars Black
• Titanium White
• Burnt Umber
• Hooker's Green
• Cadmium Yellow Deep Hue
• Primary Red
But you can use any colors you like.

Great painting, I am on day 4 of highlighting the rocks. I printed out some photos of rocks, watched the art Sherpa's rock tutorial and combined with your great instructions, am becoming very pleased with the result. Each day I spend about 30 minutes, and have really enjoyed playing with the highlights. This painting is a GREAT learning experience. I recommend it to all novices, like me.

Most tutorials say that but they're done in lapsed time without any details of brushes used, mixing colors, depth perception etc. With you am able to go one step at a time and am understanding techniques, the whys and hows etc. so that I,m able to create my own masterpiece.
