The reason why zen is so good isn’t just his mechanics which seems insane however any high gc2 to low ssl player should be able to do these mechanics. The reason for his success is his threat analysis, the speed of his decision making, his consistency and his boost management that might just be the best in the world barring Ahmed and now Diaz. Zen knows exactly when and where to push up and knows when he can’t be useful to the play, he always knows when and how a threat may appear and always covers the most space possible while not overlapping with his teammates, he never uses boost when not needed and he always keeps his boost above 20 in 3s 2s and in a few ones games as well. Another thing that makes his mechanics so deadly is Zen’s fast decision making. He always knows the best play possible by focusing on the position of the opponents, when none of the opponents are challenging in the air he goes for a quick reset or goes up to the ceiling, when an opponent is challenging he may fake the wall play and go low or bang it off the ceiling for a catch. This is why zen is so good not because he’s the worlds most mechanical player but because of his brain.

Yes, obviously it is not only his mechs that make him this good But to say that any high gc2 to low SSL players could do these mechanics at that speed, with that precision and at that level and consistency, is straight up wrong and batshit insane to say Zen's mechanics are up there and they are a huge reason for his level, and there's nothing wrong with it : Rocket League is the most mechanical game ever in eSports
