I'm going to answer seriously just in case you wanted an actual answer. The issue with a voice changer is that Zen is paranoid about her safety and her identity. TTS gets around this because it can be set up so her real voice never actually transmits to the stream, whereas with a voice changer it would be possible to eventually run the voice through some filters (yes I know I'm majorly simplifying here but I can't really think of a better way to say it) and get her real voice. As for why she's paranoid, well, if you've ever heard about her previous life and what she used to be mixed up in I would understand not wanting people to recognize you from that point in life.
