I used to love flying on the beach. Until I realized that even one grain of sand in your motor can totally screw things up. Especially with the tight spacing between magnets and stator in modern motors. Awesome flying, BTW. May sand never get in your motors!

Haha yeah figured, I've got a couple vids of flights over sand, don't have the crash in any vids yet but had one bad one where I spent the next like hour cleaning out the motors since only had one quad at the time, I always try to have somewhere else to land now.
