Just a quick question just came across your channel and now your follower. Will I be able to use stripping tape on regular nail polish? Or I need to have UV Gels? Thank you for your time. More power to your channel.

Teejaye Salvador Thank you for your support! You can use it with regular nail polish however it might lift up quicker. I don’t work with regular polish so am not familiar with what the steps may be. I would recommend letting your bass dry completely, sticking the tape down, and then doing a couple coats of top coat to try and seal it down!

Okay I put the glue on top of the strip and it takes the color right off the strip!😳

Ummm, the foil glue goes under the striping tape. The Builder gel goes over the tape.

@@d.s.7212 yes I think I knew that but the strips weren’t staying so I put some on 🔝! However with this particular glue, even under the strip it removes the color, it’s very strong probably better for foils, and I have a milder kind that might just work better with the strips. Now, what is builder gel and what would it be called, say on Amazon?
