Great video. Beautiful design 👌 The reason I never implemented Canvas was that it loaded slowly. Hopefully it's better now

Hi Andrea! We've definitely noticed an improvement to the load speed. A good way to test if it's fast enough for your needs would be to apply a Canvas from a template (don't worry about editing it) and assign it only to Admin users as to not interrupt normal users. Then, try loading a few records to test out if it will work for you.

Is there a way in Canvas Table View to create a view that groups rows with a header that delineate a little better? Our use case is that we want deals grouped by deal owner to draw contrast and see them visually grouped other than just using the Asc or Dsc functionality. The header would be the deal owner and then maybe a subheader with the columns beneath it related to that owner.

Hi Adrianne! Unfortunately, this is not possible directly via Canvas view. However, you could create a pivot table in this format in Analytics, and embed it within your Account view to be included in your Canvas.

@@Zenatta Hijacking this thread a little...are you saying it's possible to embed Analytics pivot tables in Canvas view? We currently have a custom link that redirects to a simple Analytics report in a new tab, but would love to have it embed directly in the record.

Thanks. We use Canvas, but there is one drawback. The related lists are listed in their creation date order. So the oldest data is shown in the first. There is no way to order the newest items first.

How do I add a button that allows me to add attachments right from the canvas view?
@Zenatta5 ай бұрын
You could add the attachment related list to the canvas view, or a attachment upload field, or a custom deluge button that uploads the attachment if it is grabbing it from somewhere.
