Thanks for really explaining your picks through the draft section. This was the first time I've watched you play. Well done.

#ImWithBen. I think it's great when we get a narrated video from you, and now it's on Channel Fireball. Get hyped!

One thing I’m finding interesting about this set is that the colour pairs that have tribal payoffs also have party payoffs, so there’s consideration to whether you take a wizard or a non-wizard. Makes for some interesting decisions

I totally agree - I think this is a big part of what is making this draft environment fun for me versus something like Ixalan tribal.

For Ben: @57:27 why not direct the Sparkmage to kill the Sellsword? Keeps the Roilmage alive so you can buy at least one more turn of not deadness.

@24:00 Dude's holding €. So you send your box to the states, unsure when it arrives, unsure how much you're going to get and then pay a conversion on top of that. Or does CFB have an EU shipping address?

You would've had lethal with into to roil instead of inordinate rage at the end.

Also had lethal on the swing out with Rage, but they forgot I guess?

1:16:45 Maybe I am a little mean but how can you miss that you can play a free Ardent Electromancer on this turn also? That seems like a very silly mistake to make.

This deck could be insane with 2 bubble snares

Usually, pack 1 pick 1 I count for each color how many cards I pass of that color, and compare it to what I see wheeling pick 9. In this case, I would have seen three of the four green cards wheeling, so I already picked up in pack 1 the sign that green was open.

20 drafts and you haven't seen a ruin crab yet? Lucky you. I have done maybe 15 drafts, and lost 5 games already to a turn one ruin crab

In m1 g1 when you into the roil the pack beast, I was thinking that you attack with both and then just into the roil whatever blocks the bug catcher. Is trying to get them to trade the vine gecko important or this just a bad line?
@NinjaFangv24 жыл бұрын
I dont get in the g3m3 why you didn't swing with the whole team because with the rage it was 100% lethal instead of hoping your opponent didnt draw anything. Just recording and not seeing it?

You play with unsleeved cards in paper drafts?!?! what kind of monster?!

Why trying force RB so Hard?... Black was clearly not open.. even in pack two having the mindset that you are most likely to be RB and leting that effect your pics.

A mediocre ardent electromancer over ruin crab?!?! wtf!!! "Not easy"?!?! Blue was clearly open since pack one, I don't know why have you tried to avoid blue, with those signals...

His play was tight, but that draft was frustrating to watch. He gets Into the Roil super late pack one, then waffles about blue vs black for a dozen picks when he has one high quality black card and has seen no black removal. Meanwhile, he misses green being wide open despite every green card from his opening pack wheeling. The blue green deck he could have drafted would have been absurd. That being said, Ruin Crab wasn't going into any deck he could have drafted.
