I am one of the early adaptor of this machine, The product as such works fine. We have to be cautious using this device for certain applications. I use it for load shifting for my refrigerator. Zendure privately mentioned they will add load shifting feature, Unfortunately they never did. So, I use a WiFi enabled plug to Turn-ON/OFF the power via a set schedule. In recent days its success is risen to 80% from 30% early on. There were several occasions while I was away, The device failed to switch to battery and my refrigerator was left with NO power. I am now got used to check the status of the device during the PEAK hrs time. Its going ok, but i am seriously looking out for stable device. Apart from this there are few other minor issues otherwise so-far the product was just OK and I dont recommend for users who would rely on UPS functionality .

This has been the one I've been waiting for ever since they started their crowdfunding. I want the LifePo4 version. So I am crossing my fingers your review of this one is a two thumbs up. I haven't finished your video yet. I currently own an EcoFlow River Max but I need more battery and higher output wattage for more cooking diversity. Thank you Odin and Mr. Hobotech!

I love the fact that they give multiple options for the battery chemistry, I wish other companies did that. I'd take a slightly lower capacity for a huge increase in longevity! When it comes to crowdfunding projects, I'm mostly skeptical of companies that haven't made anything before. That was the main reason I wasn't sure about Runhood, it's their first campaign. I actually backed Zendure's Supertank Pro last year because I'd found and bought one of their regular Supertank chargers not too long before and I liked the product. Same with ZMI, I bought a product of theirs previously and liked it, so I figured their campaigns were trustworthy, and I'm 2 for 2 on that front!

Just bought the AC200MAX, don't care, getting this on the 4th too. They will compliment each other well, and this fills the gap for keeping power on for the fridges and freezers at night when I don't want to run the generator. Can one REALLY have TOO MANY of these doodads? I guess I'll find out!

Your reviews are exceptional as always and it's always interesting to see what new products are being provided for, I would love to see them a little lighter in weight and a little thinner, but certainly just as powerful! Also, must say you're looking good, I like the more trimmed and groomed look 👍

Glad I backed this based on your first review, and glad I switched to the 2000 vs the 1500, as I would still be waiting. As I understand it, the first batch 1500s are on their way. While the inability to use AC if solar charging via the AC input is a drawback, you can still input 600W on the DC side. Units this size, like the AC200/P/Max, are great for high wattage short term use, such as a coffeemaker or microwave. For those who want to run an AC unit, the AC200Max plus expansion batteries and maxed out solar input is the way to go. The portability of the SBP is great for a weeklong+ camping trip powering a DC fridge, coffeemaker, microwave, etc., and solar charging when possible. We were promised a direct connection wi-fi capability which hasn't happened yet, which is needed for camping. You can turn off GPS, and you can use your home wi-fi. My Vespera telescope has direct connect wi-fi built in so I don't see why Zendure can't make good on their promise. I tested the Zendure solar panels against Bluetti SP200 and PV200 panels, and they were a hair better than either on that particular day. I would say they are just as good if not better. I'll be signaling our friends in the sky on World UFO day (night) with my SBP!

I really, really appreciate Zendure's simplicity and robust-ness of their smaller USB A / C power banks. The fact that they can act as a USB 3 hub but also work as a UPS device is just fantastic. This unit looks pretty great. Lifepo4 would be nice to see, though... pros and cons between the two as far as power density and weight goes.

As far as the solar panels, I like the simplicity of the Jackery 100w panels. The magnet fold and kickstand. However, the 8mm plugs are a bummer. However, I bought y splitter cables that I can use the Jackery panels with a XT60 plug to use on my Ecoflow or Zendure. That's nice.

Hey Tom, thanks for the review! Although I was waiting for a Saurian Brandy re-visit, I was not disappointed by your thorough examination of Zendure's sogen. After our discussion about lithium house batteries at Quartzite, I decided that a compact, lightwieght, but powerful powerstation might be the best option for my Aliner, but I'm still waiting on Zero Breeze to ship the ElecHive perk to campaign supporters (more than a year and half overdue). Is the mood-light on the front of the Zedure still controlled via the app or did they change that? Regards to Odin.

Thanks but what I'm interested in is a solid 12 volt connection like the 12 volt air plane connection on AC200. Do any other solar generators have a firm connection which works better than a cigarette lighter outlet to power a 12 volt refrigerator.

Love the MC4 to AC solar input. VERY impressive that it took waaayyy over it's stated voltage of 160V. If you were to do that with an all in one, such as the MPP LV2424, you could damage the unit. I'm assuming it will work similarly on the 1500 model but I hope you review that soon. And WOW, listening to the prices you mentioned toward the end of the video, they actually went down over time. I don't think I've seen Bluetti or EcoPower do that. They usually go up. The normal price for the 2000 is $1499 and the 1500 lists for $1299 on Amazon. Currently, they also have up to $150 off during Black Friday. The only thing I don't care for is the cost of their portable 200W panels. $599 on their own and slightly less if in a bundle. YIKES!!! I'm getting the 1500 on Amazon due to the LifePO4 battery and discount code, zendureSBP, that I found on a tech site I frequent. Runs through Nov 27th. Code also works on the Pro 2000 if you are ok with that battery technology.

Paranoid much? You can keep those options turned off. Just turn the wifi on once in awhile for firmware updates, which is a good thing, right? This is an amazing power station. I'm getting this for my cargo trailer conversion/tiny home. If someone takes off with my house, I have more than one way of tracking it down. Have a cellphone in your pocket? Guess what? It constantly tracks your movements and guess what else? It listens to you and your camera can be accessed as well. If you have something to hide....guess you better get rid of all of your technology and head for the woods. Sheesh.

@@cmyanmar13 congratulations! You've evidently escaped the matrix. Either that or you're hiding on a deserted island or in a bunker under an assumed name after faking your own death. You have an off the books cash income and use a barter system for goods and services. You are using a less paranoid associates' computer for internet access and user name. If this product works exactly as the professor says it does, it works great for your needs and never gets a firmware update then, wonderful!, you're all set. But wait, then someday your friend on the mainland sends you a smoke signal telling you about a newer version with some improvements and cool options. Oh man! What are you going to do? You could turn on the wifi and run the risk of being tracked and identified or, toss the one you have into the ocean and spend another two grand on a new one with said improvements that were covered for free with an update. Evidently you have no experience with something with a computer in it. Most products need updates to continue functioning with other computers that have been updated. I guess you'll just keep filling the ocean with outdated equipment every couple of years. To each his own, I guess. We do share the same ocean though so, please just keep using your friends' updated equipment. Just keep an eye on the horizon for the latest smoke signals. I'm being facetious. Just joking around. Live your best life. Could care less.

Thank you for your quick response Professor, I appreciate you and I have watched you for months, I'm glad I found you. I'm in your Amazon store researching your 48v battery. I'd like to give you all my solar business. Rather than purchase a ready-made solar generator, I prefer purchasing a 48 Volt battery system and all that would be needed including proper over-kill heavy component wire you decide. My plan is to aquire batteries, components etc. to hook into residential electric breaker box. At present, I use a locate electric Co., also a 1000 gal propane tank, and a 22k Generac generator. All utility options I have are based on supply and demand factors, none of which use sun power, so let's start.. If you present enough battery power to produce 15-20KW with inverter(s) and other needed components, I will lower your inventor with pleasure. I reached for a contact number to no avail. I hope to hear back from you. Thank you Professor,

A friend of mine has a Bluetti EB70S and the fan only comes on when charging, and never comes on when drawing power off it. Is this normal?
@peacepoet1947
@peacepoet1947 2 жыл бұрын
I have an AC200 and if I'm using the AC inverter with my kettle to heat water for whatever reason the fan comes on. Even while charging the unit the fan comes on for a minute when the watts are coming in excede 195 watts. The fans on the AC200 are not very loud and not being on for long periods of time makes it not a big problem for most people using solar generators. Heat is an enemy and the fans keep it cooler. I do run a USB fan outside the AC200 to help with the unit to keep its cool.
@peacepoet1947
@peacepoet1947 2 жыл бұрын
Heat is a reason for the fans and probably depends on how many watts are being used. More watts needed the higher temperature the unit will endure. He might not be drawing enough watts to make the fans turn on. You don't want to run a fan if it isn't necessary.

@@DoritosResidue I have Bluetti AC200, AC200P and AC200Max. Plus others. I also have the Zendure SBP. They are all worthy. The SBP has many features the Bluetti models do not, and the Bluetti can add an expansion battery. Both can dual charge with solar, but you can add much more solar to the SBP. We were promised a direct connection to the SBP without the need for 4G or home wi-fi, but that hasn't happened yet. That and not being able to use AC out while solar charging via AC in are drawbacks, but you can still solar charge @600W via DC in, which is an XT60. The solar panels are also really good.

I just took a look at the vtoman and it has one big problem imo. the slow charging. solar input is limited to 120watts on the jump 1000 and the external brick charger charges at 180watts. for power stations that size they have to have more input capacity. you can't even charge that in a day with solar because the sun won't be out long enough.

Inability to use the unit's APP without the "internet" makes this unit very suspect to pretty sad. Think about it... the power fails in the city... what is the chance that the internet will work? (Probably very low). What no internet at the mountainside campsite? (Too bad). Another downside is the lower cycle life of the batteries for the 2000W unit. I really like the overall quality of the product, but there's some weird issues with the way they refuse to allow app access without the internet. lastly, I didn't see anyway to get 240 VAC.
