What’s with so many haters here? If you can do better, looking forward to seeing your channel. Sheesh. I appreciate the effort and info here. Been watching for years. Grateful for the insight and exposure to new products. Once again, consistent testing let’s me know how it compares to similar products. Otherwise I would be buying items of poor quality or of a quality I wish was better. Your efforts and videos are appreciated!

Thanks for this great informative video. I had not heard of that product before. I have looked at their documentation and could not find the minimum PV input voltage to get it running. Do you have this information? 🤔😊

How long would this run off a bluetti ac180 ?

Testing these portable refrigerators being totally empty is worthless . I have a 45qt Setpower that I filled and opened periodically a 50amp hour lithium battery lasted almost 6 full days and it’s half the price of the fridges you have tested
@HOBOTECH3 сағат бұрын
There is no point of filling it with frozen food. That doesn't test power consumption or compressor at all, just insulation. It's not a cooler.

Not even three years of warranty. For that much. That's a big downside. Off brand mini split 500 bucks. 5100 btus 1100. Or a window ac 150. Wattage 360-500....

I bought a single zone iceco based on your reviews and using your discount. That was 3 or 4 years ago. Love it!!! Its a 72 (or 74, cant recall). Thinking of getting a second smaller one. I run it in a truck camper with 360 watts of solar.

Idling a huge US truck engine for hours to charge a battery, probably the most stupid idea in the world regarding efficiency, pollution, and climate warming. Not to mention noise pollution. Even charging "while running" is a huge regression compared to PVs especially for a vehicle that have room for PVs, since of course the more load on the electric circuit of the vehicle the more it will burn gas. EcoFlow often cites climate warming while advertising, it is now clear that it is just green washing, so I won't buy any product from this brand.

Ecoflow is trash ... if you don't use this everyday...it will break on you and then you will realize that your warranty is no longer good(expired). Mine broke in 2 month
@HOBOTECH2 сағат бұрын
Most EcoFlow products have a 5 year warranty when purchased direct. If it broke in "2 month" and there was no warranty, it's because you bought it used/refurb or from a 3rd party. That's your own fault.

Even if you don’t live in a hurricane region, ANYTIME you lose power, you need this. Refrigerator & freezers stay cold about 2 hrs IF you leave them closed. I lost power (~30,000 citizens in all) 2x last month. It was high 80’s first time, low 90{s the 2nd. If didn’t have one of these at the time. Has to throw out ice cream and other foods were thawing in freezer. No power..no air conditioning, my puppy was miserable & I wasn’t happy either. So no I own the Delta 2 Max, extra battery & 2 x 220 w bifacial solar panels. So now I power my freezer and internet all the time with this system. If no AC I have large fans to get us by til power comes back on. My refrigerator is about 20 feet away so I have a 12 gauge extension cord to run that as well. With 4,096 watts I can go quite awhile especially when I have 440 watts of solar charging during this time. Even if you don’t experience power outages, you can get “free power” and power many items in your house with the power of the sun. You don’t have to buy all I did at once. Start with the DM2 & 1 x 220W solar panel…add the extra battery & another panel down the road.

I just got the Rocky 40 and love the metal finish. Also like the quality feel of the handles and buttons. I’m going to do a single zone test and reference your dual zone results to find out the difference. The 40 should ultimately use just a little less power as is. Great review!

Hi. Great review of Sun Gold inverter. I have a question: Do you still have the inverter around ? Can you help me with a close up photo of the controller board ? I need to identify part number of a failed 8-pin iC surface mount component (it burnt up) on a similar inverter, so that I can purchase and replace. Let me know if you can help sir. Regards.

The battery isn't worth its price. In Canada it was cheaper to buy a small Ecoflow than to buy their battery. My Bougerv fridge is a different model and i fail to see how this one is any better?

Regarding the XT60i and solar charging...if you wire the negative side to the center pin, it will go over 8 amps. Sorry if that was already mentioned in the comments.

I have the Ecoflow 400w folding panel and it works fantastic but the case/stand is absolute garbage. I really hate putting it up and messing with it all day. Im working on building an aluminum frame to stand it up rather than the case. I use the Delta 2 Max to run my starlink. I hadn't thought about using a smaller inverter instead, but its a great idea and I will definitely give it try. Thank you for another great video, Professor!
