As an autistic person who lives in an environment where people constantly don't give me detailed descriptions/instructions about something, I found this extremely relaxing. Not only because it's an ASMR video that will help me sleep, but also because it fills that "lack" I feel for explanations of some things. I don't know how to explain properly, but it's a comforting feeling 😊 thank you very much!

It sucked for me as a kid, suddenly we’re changing the schedule and doing a special thing and everyone’s upset at me for not doing something I wasn’t told to do. Oh gosh, especially elementary school gym, that was actually the worst in my life. How am I supposed to know how to play this sport if you don’t teach me 😭 like cmon gang everyone is yelling at me and idk what to do

@bbcbutnotthechannel educators are taught to use "people first" language, ie "people WITH autism" but, in my experience, a lot of those "people with autism" say it diminishes the impact autism has on their life. they are autistic, their life is never not filled symptoms from autism, so it's more comforting to acknowledge thst than dismiss it as something separate from the person.

I watched this while eating fudge ans as an autistic person this was honestly amazing. I’ve seen so many ASMR videos that say their targeted specifically for autistic people and most of them are just basic asmr that’s just them saying ‘you’re loved’ ‘you’re normal’ ‘it’s ok to be yourself’ ans it bothers me so much but you are doing amazing and this is absolutely perfect! It was the perfect amount of stimulation and I’m obsessed!!!

I enjoyed these over explanation more than I thought, I think the pace was nice. If I'm not too late to the idea gathering of the next video's triggers, my participation shall be: brushing/hair brushing. It tricks the thoughts into stopping and the brain into sleeping, somehow.

I usually don’t really trust videos with “autistic” in the title since i’m very very defensive about the autistic community/usually they’re the most basic “uwu autism” videos to exist, but i’m delighted to say what started as a hate watch turned into genuinely enjoying the content. There’s no passive aggression or cockiness here, no air of “for you little autistics out there”. A+, i’ll definitely check our more of your videos

I love how you don't just do roleplays like make up and stuff. It's so relaxing ❤

This comment isnt about the asmr itself, but I wanted to say it can be so helpful for me (I have AuDHD) when people give very detailed definitions/descriptions of things. It is also so helpful if they're trying to explain instructions on how to do something, even if the task might seem easy to most people😊 (sorry if the comment is hard to understand, I can't explain things well myself lol)

As a non-American person, even though I didn't understand most of what you said, this was very helpful and relaxing, much love from Norway! (Also google translate is very useful for leaving comments like this on videos)

This was a lovely video!! I actually like the background noise as it helps me feel more grounded and more secure. I would recommend flipping any future videos that have text displayed as in the final product, the text ended up backwards. This is just a nitpick, but I thought it was something worth mentioning!

I really wish you would do an adhd one (i don’t know if you did already) but other people just add short clips and say “for people with adhd” but I like fast paced triggers, and like 1 minute of each trigger!
