As an autistic person who lives in an environment where people constantly don't give me detailed descriptions/instructions about something, I found this extremely relaxing. Not only because it's an ASMR video that will help me sleep, but also because it fills that "lack" I feel for explanations of some things. I don't know how to explain properly, but it's a comforting feeling 😊 thank you very much!

@bbcbutnotthechannel educators are taught to use "people first" language, ie "people WITH autism" but, in my experience, a lot of those "people with autism" say it diminishes the impact autism has on their life. they are autistic, their life is never not filled symptoms from autism, so it's more comforting to acknowledge thst than dismiss it as something separate from the person.
