Dom, when you have to point out the repaired part, you have done the job well. Thanks. you always make it look easy, maybe even easy enough that I could pull it off!

Don, You are an amazing teacher! I'm somewhat intimidated by cabinet repair, but your veneer repairing videos go a long way for helping me to get over that. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series. Best regards, Tom

Nice! I really like the zig zag patch. I used one of ur tips from a precious video, on the Howard veneer patch. Cutting at an angle. Turned out great! Thx Larry

Very good video. I'm trying to restore a Bush radio cabinet and it was extremely helpful to see how you replace the veneer and match colors. One question though: The fill sticks are made of wax, right? Was there any issue with putting toner lacquer on it?
@RestoreOldRadios4 жыл бұрын
I’ve haven’t had an issue applying toner or clear lacquers over the touched up areas. I used www.mohawk-finishing.com/products/wood-touch-up-repair/fillers/fil-stik-putty-sticks/ and Mohawk has many other solutions that may provide equal or better results. I hope things progress as planned on your Bush radio cabinet. All the best. Don
