Just got a Zenith B600 and found this video not long after it was posted! Glad to find a video that shows how to take off the chassis so I can repair it!

NICE! Who doesn't love a TUBE TransOceanic! I still have my Father's unit he bought in Germany while in the Army. Nothing beats the look and sound of an old radio. You have a great starting model Wire, I have seen these really beat up and wrecked, yours looks like a fantastic candidate for a refurb and clean-up. I'm sure you know about Mr Carlson's Lab on KZbin- His radio restorations are amazing. He is worth checking out! Great stuff!

Wire I have never watched a radio restoration before but I gotta say I’m extremely impressed by your knowledge about them! Looking forward to see how it turns out. It’s a super cool radio!

Thanks Ian. I have done other radio videos on this channel in the past.

Wire did I see correctly, does it have point to point wiring and printed circuit boards? Looks like they used the tubes as chassis mount which is smart.

Yes it's point to point. No circuit boards. I'll show a close up on it in the next video.

I Bet the retractor was Broken By the last Person in the radio.
