Excellent presentation Alexander! Zenith is really reaching for the stars these days. I'm sure they have hit a few already! They are to me the most exciting brand around right now with many interesting releases recently. It was you Alexander that showed me the way to my Zenith Chronomaster Sport. I saw your review and ran to the AD to place an order for the black dial version. It arrived 4 months later. I'm loving it and every time I put it on I know I have something special on my wrist! 1/100 of a second makes much sense with Zenith than with TAG Heuer… To be precise it was a shared project between the brands … what was wanted at the time being were solutions… Biver then decided to launch it with Zenith…
@andreizamfira2 жыл бұрын
I always saw this brand as being such an under-rated brand, asking much less for their watches while in the same time offering so much more technology than others "renown", (e.g. Omega and Rolex...). I never saw a Moonwatch or a Daytona to provide centigraph functionality, (and i doubt I will ever see one...).

Funky. Summery. Fun. Although blurring the lines aesthetically, at a quick glance, between high horology and Casio G-Shocks. Only downside being the relatively short warranty period, short service interval, high service price and that they probably have to go back to Switzerland for months at a time.

@@WatchAdvisor it’s not meant as a criticism. Watch brands spend millions on the way their watches look aesthetically. Hardly surprising that there will be an overlap in design aesthetic between high horology and more accessible brands with computerised design packages and 3D printing technology v high horology manufacturing methods. So you can pay 400 bucks or 40,000 and get watches that have a similar high tech appearance at a glance. For example, Casio could produce an AP Royal Oak look if they wanted to, oh look, they already did! Or RM…

Another great review and video. My favorite by far is the black with orange strap. The Velcro strap would be my second strap choice. I just love Zenith watches and especially this one. However I wish is also had a date complication. I think the size is perfect. The white one is unisex in my opinion. However, the white one is not my taste.
@andrewm96692 жыл бұрын
I like them both, but the size is the stumbling point for me. I really wanted the Defy 21 Ultra Violet, looked incredible in photos, then in person, it was just too big. A black and purple watch is out there at the best of times, but the size just made it that little bit more restrictive to wear. The watch wears you, you don’t wear the watch. Unbelievable piece of kit though, i really love the look of Zenith over the past few years. I have many brands in my collection, and sometimes I feel they all look back in time in terms of design, these Zenith Defy watches are very modern and look superb. Bravo.

If one is a real watch enthusiast rather than a slave to what is in and what is the best "investment" then this watch is a fantastic thing to own. Technically fascinating from a brand with a real heritage of innovation and quality for around €25,000. Last time I checked the real price (retail price is not even an option anymore due to the opportunists and grey market dealers inflating the prices!) of a steel daytona is around €40,000 which makes this a bargain for all you get and your not a sheep but standing out showing you actually love the art of horology. Well done Zenith! Alexander. I would love it if you could get your hands on the new ultra high beat Chopard Alpine Eagle and review it for us. I would love to see what it looks like in one of your videos and what you think of it. Perhaps at the same time you could get them to loan you the new rose gold chronograph as well as that looks stunning also! Oh and the carbon for me. Summer would be on the orange strap and cooler months go stealth with the black straps! Oh and I really do not like the velcro, Not only as it sounds cheap when opened but you have a huge amount of strap sticking out which is going to catch on everything. Much better if they had done a simple tang buckle version with keepers

I have the normal Zenith defy white ceramic and that watch is sleek and toned down size wise. What i dont like is the buckle, its very uncomfortable and slashes into my wrists, really dont understand the super sharp edges, wish Zenith would admit this fault and replace it with a better design.Ofc the custom lugs dont allow nonfactory strap changes, which makes it even more frustrating. Zenith created the most uncomfortable deployant clasp for the Chroma that I've ever felt on a watch. The edges are sharp and if the fit is on the tighter side for your wrist, it'll actually be painful to wear. Cool looking watch otherwise but they really messed up on that clasp.
