I have the black ceramic version with the black leather strap and it is an awesome piece, this violet version is also fantastic the color scheme works great. I think I will start looking for one of those violet straps!

The long term point of view is a personal question. If you're speaking to value, watches should never be looked at as investments. If you think you will like this watch over a long period of time, then definitely go for it. Rafael
