The mini's look very spotty, was that because of the spray can? Too close/too far/too cold or something?

I am pretty sure this was primed using an airbrush, but that being said recently I have changed the needle and nozzle size for the airbrush that I use for priming because it tended to splatter. So yeah, it is probably splatter from the primer application.

"time dollars" the most valuable currency known to man Also that skeleton horde is super great (other GW contrasts are not idiot proof)

They are unusual unit, like foot-pounds and erg 🙃 Yeah, Skeleton Horde I really like since it behaves like a strong Sepia was. I agree that most of the line requires getting the hang of to use effectively. I wish they hadn't marketed it so much to beginners given how finicky some of the paints are.

@@SleepyWhatsIt A friend had told me there are secretly 2 kinds of GW contrast. The short explanation is that some are light, and some are dark and should go onto different color primers. I think there is a need to determine and catalog which is which. Some are supposed to get mixed with extra medium. I've only used a few, but I hate them all except skeleton horde. I still dry-brush after using it though, so it only save me the wash step on bones.

@@doctordoubledakka3939 I agree there is definately a split between the overly pigmented ones and the rest. The overly pigmented paints, which you have to thin, tend to come out less translucent. I am a fan of the more translucent ones like Blood Angles Red & Talassar Blue (sp?), etc, and obviously Skeleton Horde, because they behave like a thicker ink or a more pigmented shade.
