I played through this with Belle and in the truck she does the sideways peace sign next to her right eye in place of Wise's thumbs up lol. Also when they were almost discovered by PubSec when she sits down she just has a frozen half smile and wide unblinking eyes and her cup shakes like crazy as she lifts and drinks from it.

I honestly can't understand people who are so quick to jump to conclusions and get angry like this thinking they know better than her own freaking dying mother. Like chill... Even if you didn't know (especially if you didn't know) at the time, maybe there's a valid reason. Let the story cook, at least give it the benefit of doubt... I just gotta say, I LOVE that we're bucking the trend/trope of "Oh no! I can't tell the truth for fear of what others will think!" Zenless and Puss in Boots: Last Wish come to mind. Both stories have moments where characters are given the opportunity to tell the truth, and in ANY OTHER MEDIA THEY WOULDN'T, but they do! And its sooooo good. TL;DR tell the truth.

I like having Belle be the MC & Eous pilot because Wise makes a way better support than she would. While Belle is off being a gremlin, getting into Proxy shenanigans, Wise is taking care of the store, keeping their bills paid and getting shit on by Fairy.

Again, let me clear one misconception: because all members of H.S.O.S.6 follow japanese naming conventions, their given names (the equivalent to first names for western people) are written after their surnames; Yanagi and Harumasa's given names are "Yanagi" and "Harumasa", while their surnames/family names are Tsukishiro and Asaba, respectively. Evidence of it are Miyabi's family always being referred as "The Hoshimi Family", and Soukaku always calling Yanagi by a nickname derive from her given name, "Nagi." In the Special chapter with Section 6, Yanagi does call Haruamasa by his given name due to her concern for him, but corrects herself because she maintains a professional distance to him (for some reason), and he does too. For as much as I also ship them, the fact of the matter is that they're not on first-name-basis. EDIT: Someone let Lily know.

I can’t, for the life of me, understand why anyone is saying Astra and Evelyn’s designs look “off” or somehow don’t fit zzz. That doesn’t make any sense. HSR designs are way busier and flashier so these two would look really out of place in HSR. Also don’t understand how the 2d art for them somehow looks different from other characters or looks “busy” or worse than their 3D models. I like how ZZZ design typically have a simplicity and practicality to them. Astra and Evelyn’s outfits perfectly match their characters, they look great, and they fit perfectly into ZZZ in the same vain that Section 6 does. They’re also a completely different and new faction so of course they’re going to have a distinct style that sets them apart from the rest of the factions. Evelyn is my personal favorite and her 2d art is stunning. Astra looks every bit the superstar she’s supposed to be and the bare legs is peak ZZZ just like Yanagi. Outside of the pearls on one thigh, she has no unnecessary noise going on in her outfit which I like. Her bangs add character and her skirt isn’t too short imo. Saying she needs more going on with her bare legs or her skirt needs to be longer feels like overthinking it for the sake of over designing which is how you end up with HSR designs.

My first impressions was that they didn’t seem to fit with the rest of the cast, Astra especially, too detached from everyone, too expensive with pearl accessories and other jewelry on head to toe. I like her character and the desgin grew on me but she doesn’t feel like an agent more like a fancy npc. Which I guess is the reason why people say she feels more HSR cause by kinda projecting Robin on to her And for Evelyn, her desgin just way too cool. I can’t really put it into words, none of the magical hair colors or things typically in anime.

@ All I’m hearing is that the superstar celebrity character visually stands out which just makes sense to me and doesn’t really mean they’re out of place and don’t fit the ZZZ world. Being a singer without a traditional weapon I understand curiosity of how someone like that would work in combat in ZZZ, but I just want to point out that Rina is already a great example and a precedent of an agent that doesn’t seem like a combatant nor uses a traditional weapon. She literally floats and practically casts magic by directing her floating bangboo. Obviously she’s “the Robin of ZZZ” but not really in design or outfit. The clear parallel being them both being superstar singers. I wouldn’t exactly say that makes her an HSR character. Evelyn, I agree is absolutely super cool, but again not in an out of place kind of way. Like I said she’s not too different from the simple designs of section 6. Her hair is beautiful and to be honest there aren’t really any crazy hair colors in the game as it is. We have pink, silver, black, black with red highlights, and blonde (Piper) so Evelyn fits in nicely. To be fair, my perspective is a bit different because I’ve had the pleasure of seeing both character’s combat animations in action since even before the drip marketing dropped so they’re already clearly ZZZ characters to me in all the same ways that any other character is. I like that we get new factions and therefore new styles as the world and roster continues to expand. Simplicity and practicality is one of the things I love about ZZZ and Astra and Evelyn foot that ZZZ style perfectly imo.

@BuddyChy She fights with a microphone staff and fires off magic homing ether attacks. Considering the cannon is that hollow raiders listen to music aka records while entering hollows and that wengines are record players, ults are decibels, and that the hollows cause disorder a music based character seems fine. High fashion seems out of place in zzz only because we haven't been to the Throne Quarter and have only experienced normal fashion in the game.

About Yao and Eve's desing, I kinda really like it. Their faction is supposed to be really important and being celebrities I imagine they should feel out of place, kinda out of reach. And I feel that their designs really encapsulates that.

I think its interesting that a lot of streamers feel like they've never seen Astra before even though she's plastered absolutely everywhere. She's on a poster in Belle's room, a framed poster above the main TV in the HDD room, billboards all over lumina square, magazine covers in both random play and the news stand as well as a big record photo picture of her which she stands right next to at bardic needle which most people don't even seem to notice (she has a big ass picture of her right next to her and no one goes "oh look its her") Really confuses me. I get that everyone doesn't look for details in this world but she was hardly obscured.

I think the main reason why the cast works so well for me compared to something like genshin, is that the characters feel like they WANT TO hang with each other. Genshin characters and their factions feel more like colleagues they have to hang out with (idk with later expansions, dropped the game after misty japanese island I don't remember the name of. Maybe it got better). So it feels a lot more dear. Idk it's weird. I also think the cunning hares are a pretty big part on why it feels that way and I hope they continue to show up.
