For the record, in terms of base models, no extra cosmetics: Heavy and Engi are the only ones bald. Soldier has a military cut, very very short but still there, Demo nearly has the same hair style but it is longer. Also Pyro's build is not exactly the best way to identify its gender. The fire suit is just too bulky to make out any details, just look at irl firefighters. To this day, pyro's gender is still up in the air, which does allow for _a lot_ of creative freedom.

@@0bsidianPrime Yeah, outside of the TeuFort Invasion map that shows the skeleton which alludes to a more masculine skeletal frame including male hipbones, the voice actor being the spy but muffled and sped up, and some old concepts. And yes, TFC’s Pyro was a female, but that isn’t grounds for much as we see a male pyro with dual flamethrowers from one of the other teams at the Administrator’s headquarters in comic 7, along with what I think was a female demoman wearing something akin to a mech suit in a painting.

I know this is a hot take around here, but I actually like Catherina not being a party member. She doesn't know the full extent of what's going on, and she has her own business to get on with as a bounty hunter when she isn't campaigning. Also, in a setting like this, I think having a few free agents out there doing their own thing. Fantasy settings can end up feeling like your party is the only group of people doing anything, especially if every halfway competent person just ends up joining the party.

Hot take: It is GOOD that romances were removed. Because Persona Romances, if they're optional, have to be limited in a handful of Social Link scenes, and they end up weak sauce. Much better to just throw some nice tension in the game and let AO3 do the rest of the work.
