@@jeanblythe1595 Thank you for your comment, sorry for late reply. I don't really think too much about what design or colours to use. I just start and see how it develops, so it just grows on its own.

Very nice pattern, I love your work! Do you use any tools like ruler or compass?

Thank you, and yes very faint pencil guide lines are put on the paper first using compass and protractor and ruler. Its important to do this otherwise the end result would be a bit wonky and not pleasing. You still have freedom to develop interesting themes within your guideline parameters to create your final result.
