Thank you for this video. I just want to testify to the truth of what you are saying. I learned Hara breathing through the martial arts. Without knowing anything about Zen after three months of constant practice I experienced exactly what you describe, I was 17 years old. Deepening and integrating the insight was accomplished by doing formal Zen practice. I've read your book and highly recommend it. I really appreciate that you include the teachings of Bankei, a teacher I have reverence for. For many years I had searched for the continuation of his lineage. I am happy to have it at my fingertips.

Really nice video, thank you for posting :) If its ok, I would like to ask some question if Daizan Roshi or anyone familiar with this experience from his lineage have the time to answer that would be great. First would you say this is same or different from Kundalini awakening, in case of difference, how? Second, there are various accounts of central channel being a tool for realization in buddhist yoga, and this is what I personally have learned and practiced, though I am aware there are several ways to go at this, does the zen litterature discuss this any further? Like more in debth accounts of the central channel and non-dual realization? Third, I have had the realization, or glimpse of this everlasting precense. Like the words I was left with after was that insight was; since awarness has always been there there is no birth or death. Though its not a stable experience, just happened once, and then there are various other experiences in which this is seen from other points of view, like complete timelessness, familiarity with it, and deep love because others fail to recognize it, like it really moves you heart. Is it the zen style to revisit this realization through hara breathing untill its stabelized, or do you use koans or other techniques to deepen the realization.. Fourth, I know there is a video on stream entry here by Roshi Daizan. Do you account this insight to be pre- or post- stream entry, or the same? Or how do they relate? Thank you, sincerly Oskar

Thank you for your questions, Oskar. I've been working on a book that I think addresses your questions. It's in the hands of the editor and the designer. Hopefully we'll have it out in the next couple of months.

I wonder if you can advise? What’s happening energetically when mindfulness triggers intense upper torso & head shaking? And what should I do with such manifestations when they occur?

Hello Dhamma Boy, so sorry for the delay getting back to you. Would you like we add this question to the list?
