The rear wheel is a 26" mtn bike. It is a 48v 15ah lifepo4 system, with a 1500w controller. The charger is 5a, and everything is included in the purchase.

I got here via your post on ebay. I would be more interested if you could give some details. Like what is the rear wheel diameter? What is the voltage of the system? And what type of batteries/charger do you use and do those come with the purchase? Also some video of it actually running would be much more reassuring than a walk around. :)

I see the freewheel on the opposite side... but no drive chain or pedals. Is this project complete? Am I missing something?

It had a pedal generator, so no chain goop or maintenance

There seems to be NO PEDDLES there for it is a motor cycle in most of Canada and I would think the U.S. It's not a tadpole. I do not know where you are but do you have to license and insure it? In Canada you would have to get it plated and were a DOT helmit. The local cops this summer were checking the e bikes to see if they met road regulations. That means no after market kits and nothing over a given size. One man had his pedles turned so he couldn't use the peddles and he was ticketed for an unlicensed motor cycle.

In the year this was built and is grandfathered into the rules may have been different. It did have a pedal generator setup, but the foot plate was installed for a handicapped paraplegic to be able to have a bicycle to ride.

@@mpgtrikes Interesting, something to look at. Thankyou for responding. I'm 73 and building something similar so I can keep riding but I will have peddles as well as a motor assit. Be well and God bless.
