I was thinking they could use a quick play or continuous spell that can give your opponent a mimighoul that’s on your field or graveyard too so you could normal dragon use his search effect and then link him off and give it to the opponent. Back row removal could be good too against yubel. You’d need a way to give it to your opponent during their turn though so they can’t just flip it up right away

I play tested this deck against my friend today. He flipped rivalry, i flipped there can only be one. We both had no back row hate. So agreed. But sillohat rabbit is a good choice imo

I think a "Harpie's Feather Duster"- like effect on a new lvl 1 Mimighoul would be in line with Dragon's "Raigeki" - like effect. And a Mimighoul Rank 1, Link-1 or Link-2 would be awesome.

Testing Vernusylph Naturia Mimighoul which works pretty nice. Not too difficult to get a sunflower and nat beast on field along with all the stuff you did in this combo.

This may be an interesting line - you could try an instant fusion package with Guard Dog + Master of Ham to essentially turn skip your opponent. To make it more consistent, you could add the Scorpio and Cobra Predaplants as well.

One of the funnier ideas I'm playing with is mimighoul beatdown. I run 2 copies of Terrors of the Hidden City to give the flip mimighouls a sizeable boost in atk/def once they do. And since they come under my control after being flipped on my opponent's field, they meet all the requirements for TOTHC. ● A Monster I control ● Was flipped face up ● While this card was face-up on the field. Add to that the boost in atk they get from the mimighoul dungeon, and your opponent is looking at a 4k mimighoul dragon that just wiped their monsters. Not competitive by any stretch, but certainly fun.

Im not sure about earth charmer. Odds of opponents playing earth types are low these days so first effect isnt very useful. The 2nd effect is limited in this archetype becuase you can only add an earth with 1500 or less Def. Since part of the gimmick is they have high defense for the field spell effect, the only search you can do off a destroyed charmer is mimighoul master.

Swords of reveling lights is awesome on this deck, you don't need the xyz's to flipp all the mimighouls and it basically do the same as those xyz without wasting monsters.

it works, you can also put a fire sorcerer into the deck to give it to your opponment with mimighoul maker, but if you don't have summoning curse as a start, it's becoming more complicated to win

Have you thought of with thrust fetching feather storm as your blowout card ? You can make fucho turn 1 with 2 level 1s and it’s a winged beast - just a thought ! As then with field spell they can’t normal summon OR special summon. Essentially locking them out a turn.

@@zephyrwargamesyugioh the only problem of the ghostrick variant is that it takes a lot of extra deck space, but since this deck doesn't have any crazy requirements in that regard it's possible to put it in, also try master of Ham with instant fusion, master of ham can come back from your grave by banishing 2 flip from field/grave in face down defense position and everytime it flips you get to add a flip monster to your hand. This is overall a pretty neat one card tuto every turn as a bonus by just playing one instant fusion

im calling this now: cerberus + ido will be the best lockdown deck for mimighoul. ido just has to be banished via cerberus's effect from banishing 3 cards from top of the deck or just getting ido banished regardless. lock your opp out from ever summoning a monster

@love_4_god933 yeah seen that and people playing predaplant to get to instant it's good btw not the biggest fan as loses harder to HTs but if you just play that and 1 instant that you go for with thrust then it's more worth

Yeah saw it in a lot of other videos so didnt want to rinse and repeat all of those and show something more unique and pure, plus they lock you into earth effects, so didnt want to rely on Soul and luna, when you can abuse the easier to access extra deck mons, that few people thought about.

They seem very unique. I wanted to ask a question regarding this deck. Can it be used with Shadolls? I have a friend who loves them but can't fit them anywhere. Maybe with this deck thes can be utilised a bit better? I'd love to get your opinion on the topic!

@dootor-san they can, but there isn't direct synergy, (like dolls won't get directly into mimis) however maker could get you 2 doll monsters, but even then still not ideal. There is a way to build a deck of them both, but you wouldn't be making either massively better imo. Dolls better woth alister and Mimis better with other engines like fiendsmith or vernusylph

was trying this out but couldn't seem to get it right but figured i'd leave it here so maybe you and your friend can make it work, there's a card coming in Rage of the abyss called purrfect lander, was playing it in a Shaddoll Mimighoul build, use it as Fusion material through the Shaddol link or spell then it summons, and if you have access to thrust or book of Taiyou/sol and luna you can activate the flip spell of choice (if you have thrust then you'll have to do Mimighoul things to get to it) then continue with a combo from there, it might not be very good but I thought it was fun and could hopefully be useful :D

@@patrickmunneke8348 not in this version, slightly to slow, the idea of this version is to use the extra deck monsters a lot of people forgot about to produce the ability to flip monsters during both players turn, trigger talents/thrust and lead to more impactful cards, it could if you wanted take the place of 1 cerburus but even then I feel that's more effective for you currently
