@@zc4905 The problem at the core is that KZbin is built on corporate advertisements, and the content creators are living on corporate advertisements, so on the one hand in effect those creators become accomplices in manipulating their audience, and on the other hand advertisers can manipulate the content through adding or removing the ability to get advertisements on videos.

I would highly recommend content creators who have the time to be active on alternate platforms, even if it is just uploading the same video to them because that's literally the only way to create competition without taking a massive hit in revenue by leaving KZbin completely outside of a massive lawsuit or legislation (and let's be honest, Google owns pretty much every politician and probably quite a few judges). People always complain there are no viable competitors but if enough creators posted to other platforms as well, it'd at least get the wheels moving on that front.

I've given a lot of thought to trying out posting videos on KZbin. But stuff like this is why I wonder if it's even worth the aggravation. Just imagine what smaller streamers have to go through. It is obvious the ban was revoked, because he would not have posted any video on any other channel otherwise that would be considered ban evasion and he would get a full ban just for that, full as in can no longer create any youtube account or be involved in any channel as long as youtube exist. my account also got deleted almost 2 years ago because of some music in one of my video, I only have around 3000 subs but still so devastated I almost lost the will to live, I make a new channel, but it hasnt do as well only around 45 subs for 2 years now, I lost all of my good clips and videos just for 3 music that they consider usable to ban my channel, even now i am not fully recover yet, but I will keep going, cause I love gaming and I love uploading them, I only have 1-2 regular view on my twitch but even 1 friends is plenty and its worth it for me, even when everything in my real live is also falling a part, but honestly the community I gain in youtube & twitch is what kept me going, I lost 3000 subs but I gain 1-2 best friend, I will keep going just so maybe someday I will get just 1 or 2 more friends just like them :)

Well, I guess youtube is trying to save themselves some money. only thing that makes sense in a mistake ban but still punished scenario. not the first time I've seen this happen to the content creators I enjoy. This is what happens when you think you can write an algorithm as smart as a person. Google insists they can, and they're wrong. Oh, it works right _most_ of the time. But even if it's 99.99% accurate, then that's still a LOT of bad decisions being made when you're operating at this scale. And when the appeal process is yet another automated algorithm....yeah. There's just no way that's going to work consistently. I am sympathetic to the problems of moderation at scale. Really, I am. But Google's answer of "just throw some AI at it" is clearly failing. We need a human in the loop, and not just to blindly rubber stamp everything the algorithm does.
