"Data persistence across tabs" - I think "tabs" refer to the "Profile, Interest and Settings" tabs, which would mean that we don't really need to use local storage. Maintaining the local state in the parent component should suffice.
@nsrksreecharan9 күн бұрын
Yes may they refered to the three tabs mentioned above we can simple take this by using formik , yup validations and hotkey.js which will do the job more easy

15:10 : One Correction. Here across tabs data should retained by these interviewer probably did not mean Browser Tab, He would have meant The Three Inner TABS He asked to Design. Answer to the ask - for this Local Storage would still work but better answer to this question would be something similar to wrap the inner components in "KeepAlive" wrapper Component in VUEJS and If we talk about REACT (btw I am a proud NAMASTE REACT STUDENT), I am not aware if such thing by default REACT provides like VUE KeepAlive , but we can basically achieve similar behavior using Dynamically Showing using a Conditional self made ACTIVE class injection.

Awesome content!! Great explanation !! I really liked your videos. I think there is one miss-understanding "the three tabs " in form means the form is having multiple steps/tabs not like all three tabs are a separate browser tabs.
@harshitdubey9059 күн бұрын
we can use local storage to persist the data across tabs.

@nishulpatni77289 күн бұрын
14:45 How to persist data in tabs, we can have multiple ways, first is very straight forward using local storage, whenever a tab is opened we will check weather there is some value in local storage or not if yes then we can load it from there (obviously we will save in local storage when values changes), second approach is using a state management tool for simplicity lets take context api, we can have form context where we can store multiple form objects and when a tab is opened we can load the the values from the context.
@manishmotwani37446 күн бұрын
context api state won't be volatile on reload?
