I agree with #35. The pumpkin *carving* contest at work was always won by decorated pumpkins to the point where last year they had to add "and decorating" to the contest title. The number of actual carvings has also decreased over the years because why bother? This year, the closest to a carved pumpkin is one that has a small moon half assed carved into it.
